Frost Fuel Tank Repair Kit

I have used this three stage process to restore an old fule tank as part of a restoration project. The old tank was rusty and full of debris having been empty and unused for twenty years or so. I could not source a new tank as the vehicle is 45 years oldso I set about the restoration. This kit starts off with a cleaning stage to remove old fuel deposits and debis. The clean liquid went in, and a liquid resenbling stong coffee came out. Two cleans and flushes, then the anti rust preparation which cleans off rust deposits leaving a bare metal finish. Dry the tank and then pour in the sealant which coats the inside and tries hard to a bright silver finish. Then I cleaned, rust treated and undersealed the outside of the tank, and the result is a tank looking good as new.

For just over sixty pounds that was a great deal.
