Had a new clutch fitted 5/1/15 to my reanalt scenic price qoated was price paid car ready following day as promised I am an x mechanic retired

He replaced the clutch in a Berlingo van which after he installed it juddered in first and reverse. It was replaced by him and soon after there was oil appearing under the van, he said it would be the drive shaft seal and he didn't do them (strange as they could have been replaced at the same time as the clutch). I took it to another garage who confirmed it was the driveshaft seal and should have been replaced when the clutch was done, I rang Denton Clutch and he admitted it was leaking when he did the clutch but didn't replace the seal and that it was only £5 - £6 pounds for the seal and did not offer to carry out the work. It will now cost me £80 to have the work done which to me is an expense which could have been avoided if he had taken some pride in his work. I regret having allowed him to do any work on my van and would advise any one else to keep clear of this company.

Denton Clutch Centre give friendly expert service, good advice, much less expensive than all others quoting (Volvo 440 saved about £500), saved hundreds on Carlton 2.3 diesel. Lasted years. Small repairs on clutch parts very reasonable. Very close to M60 near Denton Sainsbury's.

My daughter's Polo clutch has just gone and I am hoping to take it there before the local garage effectively write the car off with cost or poor work.
