Turtlewax Original

I have a brand new VW Caravelle and I bought 2x containers of Turtlewax Original as I wished to look after the finish on the van now I have owned many vehicles over the years and used many many different products to clean and protect them but I have never ever used Turtlewax Original before and after using it this once I will never use it again.

The problem occurred after meticulously following the product instructions after buffing the wax away to leave a "gloss like shine" I noticed there are small green flecks of polish all over the body work???

I have since that fateful day washed the van 7x now and with each was I use my Karcher power-washer along with a foam gun and an Ultimate foam product Then after washing the foam off I use another car shampoo this is then washed of then I use a wash & wax then a final rinse and wax in between each application of product I use a soft car brush to work each clean and protective product in to help break down any dirt that needs to be washed away and yet I am still spotting these hard flecks on the body work.

The only way I have found that I can remove them is by use of a finger nail to actually pick these hard flecks off.

I sent this report of the Turtlewax Original failure to Turtlewax UK and after two weeks I received an envelope which in side had a typed letter instructing me to fill a sample bottle which was included in the envelope with some of the Turtlewax Original product also to write a letter giving details of the product Batch number the place where I bought it the price I paid for it the date of purchase make model of my vehicle ( which I'd already given them) age of vehicle which product and how frequently these are used on the vehicle and specific details of the problem.

All this plus the return envelope has a hand written return address which is very hard to read plus it isn't even a stamped envelope they expect myself to pay for this as well then on top of that to make a 6 mile round trip to the post office.

So much for customer courtesy needless to say I will not be sending this sample back to Turtlewax UK but instead disposing of it and not using a Turtlewax product again.
