Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover

This bug and tar remover is amazing! I've used it over 28 years, and can't find any fault. It works on more than bugs and tar...tree sap, bird droppings, even a compound to eliminate surface scratches. It's great

I travel to San Francisco every weekend and I needed a good product brand that I trusted, something to take all of the bugs off. I bought Rain X Bug & Tar Remover, tested it in a small area, and I guess the area was too small because when I sprayed it on the front of my hood and let it sit for 3 minutes it seemed to streak the paint. My brand new car - and now the hood is streaked. I will never use this again!

When using Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover Polish great care should be taken. Ignore any instructions to spray! Like all waxes that use a spray you will not be able to remove it from the hard to reach places. Use it like you would any other polish apply liberally to a cloth and cover the area to saturation point. Allow 5 to 10 minutes to soak in. Rub the main debrise from the car then using a pressure washer you can discharge the rest of the bugs. Great at removing the bodies of dead bugs but a bit time consuming and hard to apply to those places with nooks and cranies. If you know how hard it is to remove bugs from your car then this is definitely a helpful product.

Where do you get most bugs splattered? Yes i know on the front of the car, I sprayed this Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover car wax and polish all over my front apron/spoiler and to my dismay it is white and goes everywhere even into the crevices and grilles/meshes you can't get it off afterwards, it took two hours trying to remove this junk from where i did not want it, if you don't believe me try it on the front end of a black car and see the results, the instructions should read apply to cloth first not to spray it or maybe make it clear not white.
