DON’T NOT USE Amateur windscreen repairs and replacements company. Had a cracked windscreen in March 2014 after travelling to my parents’ home in Bolton from London, called JW auto windscreen, no problems whatso ever good customer service The guys were polite. I was driving down to London 3 days later and my rear view mirror fell off the windscreen on the motorway. Took it to the local garage in London who gave me a temporary fixture however advised to get intouch with JW Autowindscreen as when they replaced the windscreen and took the rear view mirror off had damaged the glue and it requires the special glue. I called JW autowindscreen who advised next time I am up north to give them a call and they will sort it-which I did and had no problem regarding this. They stuck the rear mirror back on in the wrong position so it does not rotate. Spoke to them again in June 2014 they advise that they will need to order a new windscreen in and will take a few days to order. As I live in London I stated to them next time I am home for more than a weekend I will contact you. So I did they advised that they would sort something out for the period I am at home and ring me back. I had no call. I then text them, no response to my text I also rang them as soon as I said my name they hung up and I have not had anything since…… I have since taken it to the VW garage who has confirmed that this is the workmen ship of amateurs… I thought it would be useful for others to know

We have had jw autowindscreens repairing and replacing our car and van windscreens and glass for a number of years and have never had 1 complaint they are always prompt,polite, professional always do a top job without fail the technician whom always sorts our vehicles out is brilliant never can do enough for you ,faultless in every way with this company price is great service is great the overall quality of workmanship is second to none always neat perfectly fitted never a problem and we have a variety of vehicles from smart cars to porsche and allsorts of vans transits caddy ect would always recommend jw will not be having any other company do our glass you will not get better thanks you deserve credit for amount of times at short notice you have always helped no matter what time of day our cars are damaged we always get a answer off you on the phone and always no matter what time of day , we have had other companies whom let us down bad shoddy jobs with jw none of that never let us down in over 3 years and never tried to rip us off the price we get quoted is never dearer occasionally they have been cheaper cannot reccommend enough

I would just like to say the service I have received from Auto Windscreens within the last week has been outstanding!

From the time I originally booked a Windscreen Fitter with your Customer Service Team, I have to say, the gentleman on the phone, was extremely polite, friendly and very helpful. The call and information he required from me was only a few details and it was booked within a two minute call! Though my call was a little longer, due to the booking times. I had requested if the Fitter could arrive from 9:30am instead of 9:00am, as I had my school run to do! That was no problem, no fuss at all. It was put on the system immediately. I received emails and texts before both visits confirming the booking and telephone numbers, should I have any problems.

Although my chip was too large to repair, the Fitter booked my new Windscreen there and then and another date was fixed immediately.

The Fitters, again like your Customer Service team, were very helpful, friendly and took the time to explain the procedures and took the time to answer any queries that I had.

My new windscreen was fitted yesterday by your Fitter. He was ever so helpful. He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. I was fascinated by how he would cope on his own with such a weight! He didn’t mind me watching him and he explained what he was doing and how it was fitted etc. He was ever patient with me I must say, I asked how he would have coped with fitting the new windscreen had it been raining and gale force winds that we have had recently and he showed me the cover on the side of the van and said it has been built for that purpose. The sun was shining brightly anyway and I joked that he had brought the sun with him! So at this point, I’d just like to take this opportunity to apologise for being a pest yesterday but thank him also for been very patient with me!!

I have copied this email to the review centre, as I believe everyone should know where to go for this kind of service that the consumer so desperately seeks nowadays.

these guys were great J.W Autowindscreens had some vandal smash my windscreen on a sunday night,called this company was answered in a polite friendly manner which makes a change, i spoke to the person on the phone and explained my situation they was very helpful and knew what they were talking about gave my reg number and year of car and what area i was in and they matched up the correct screen for my car, a vw golf which was blue with a sensor i was amazed at this as i hadnt said what colour of tint it had.They Came out first thing monday morning as they promised the technician even gave me a call to say they was on there way and be with you in half an hour and was there on the dot,the technicians were very polite,they go out fitting as a team of two not one on there own & actually one of the technicians was the lad that owns the company he is very friendly and does his best to help,did a great job no marks or scratches anywhere you would not have known it had been replaced no mess exactly same glass ,tint sensor actually works lol have had windscreens in the past fitted by the large national companies and was nowhere near as good as j.w autowindscreens for quality of job,price service & i am very fussy i reccommended these to my friends and family they was very effecient and knew there job they did not rush took there time this company is the good old fashioned company that actually do a good job at a fair price & actually bother about customers & care which most companies lack or just dont bother well done you deserve credit were its due a job well done
