Usually Car Wash Centres wash your car with automatic washers but me don't like them, i have a Hand Car Wash Near my house in Bradford. these Guys are good and friendly as well.

I have been there once and they did a decent job washing my car. After they were done my car was spotless-clean and fresh. In addition the service was quick and affordable.

We have a dog, a little dog but a smelly, little dog. Plus 2 kids. And the three of them make the car dirty and smelly.

So, near my work we have a hand car wash that offer a valeting service. Seemed like an ideal solutiuon to get the car cleaned whilst I was at work for 4 hours.

I took the car in and explained I just wanted the seats and the carpets cleaning and that it had to be ready for 2pm as I needed to get back to collect my kids from school.

When I returned to collect the car THEY WERE STILL CLEANING IT! They kept saying "it's not finished, come back in 30 mins". They eventually let me take the car nearly 2 hours after the agreed time.

I drove home in tears. It was literally dripping wet, full of soap and all the suedette trim on the doors and dash were totally ruined. The seatbelt warning sensors in the front seats stopped working due to the water. The car sat on the drive for 48 hours solid, with two fan heaters on plus a dehumidifier to get the car dry enough to use. After 2 days drying out it was still damp and when I drove it water poured from the light fittings in the ceiling :0

I wrote to the owner requesting a refund plus compensation for the damage caused. I received no reply. I went to Trading Standards who were worse than useless (what is the point of their existence exactly)

My only recourse is to go to the small claims court.

Do not use this company - they are a total bunch of cowboys
