Great Product And Service

Saw the 1* review and thought to share my experience. I bought the policy the day before I traveled received my policy documents within 5 mins of payment. Went to Disneyland Paris and broke down at our apartment. I called the number and a polite gentlemen came out to provide assistance within 2 hours.

I cant speak for others but for me, 5 stars.

Just As It Should Be

Just to say thanks for organising my cover at short notice. I hadn't thought about getting cover as I have a newish car - but saw EVBC cover at a bargain price. I thought it was well worth it. I received my documents within 5 minutes of payment. Just as it should be.

Superb Service! A Big Thank You From The Familly

We have just returned from a trip to france and I wanted to write a note of thanks to EVBC. I unfortunately mislaid my insurance documents and got into a bit of a pickle. I contacted EVBC who re emailed the documents to me within the hour!!!

Whats more, I called the breakdown number and I was recovered to a nearby garage where the vehicle was repaired whilst we waited. A few coffees and an ice cream later we were back on our way.

This is a great value service, with a great breakdown service behind it. I have seen a few bad reviews on here but this is not my experience in the slightest.

I will be using you again and referring you to my friends.

No Documents - No Cover

I was invited to renew my annual policy at £72, was charged £75 and then received no communication whatever from this company despite many attempts to contact them.

I have no documents and no cover - just a paypal receipt for £75.

I strongly recommend avoiding this business.

Misleading At The Very Best.

I purchased breakdown cover, the benefits schedule said 'spare parts for essential repairs' 'Unlimited'.

My car broke down (despuite being under 2 years old (owned from new)) and they refused to pay for any parts!

The small print says they will only pay for parts if the parts are not available locally, i.e. if the garage your car is taken to cannot source the parts.

Excellent Cover

Just come back from the south of France - evbc was a life saver! Following engine bother they were out within the hour and got us back on the road.

If I had to pick one thing - you have to call the assistance number on your policy docs, the number on the website is just for sales and general enquiries.

10 out of 10 from me.

I Cancelled And Got A Refund

I bought a policy for my trip to Spain in May. I had to cancel and had a refund the same day through the website.

Would have been nice to be able to call though.

No Contact,no Service And No Refund

Recently took out a policy with this company for a short trip abroad, from reading the website it gave the impression that we could change details free and easily, WRONG. Their call centre is non existant, they have not replied to the e mails sent and it now appears as though although Paypal act on their behalf to collect the funds, as there is no final product there is no redress, so no money back.

Would suggest that you avoid this company, we are trying through paypal to get a refund or if that is not possible then to get Paypal to remove the option to pay through them as your purchase is not protected.

God only knows what would have happened if we had actually broken down on a trip.

I'm Sorry, We Don't Recover From Main Roads!

Setting up the cover was easy fast and appeared to be very good value.

Blew the top hose on last day of cover while driving past Dunkirk in France. The Operator irritatingly asked me all the same questions as on the application, and told me she was not able to check my membership!! and would ring me back. She also advised that they didn't recover from any main roads, WHAT? - and that they would not be able to recover me from any private property - (i.e a service station or any owned property where I was parked).

She did ring my mobile back some while later, ( I was fixing the blown top hose at that time) and when I tried to call her back, the number she had called from was a :BLOCKED NUMBER".

I was let down by EVBC/Alliance Motoring Assistance that night, and my four passengers were unreasonably put through some considerable distress as a result of their "Non Action".

I have to say that Alliance Motoring Assistance who are sold via EVBC are in my opinion just a bunch of rip off artists, and I would NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN OR ADVISE ANY OTHER PERSON TO USE THEM.

I limped the 40 miles to Calais, got on the Ferry, and at Dover telephoned a real breakdown Company that covered one of my passengers.

EVBC and Alliance Motoring Assistance should be reported to the FSA for ripping motorists off, they are useless.
