Thurrock Services, between J30 and J31, M25

I visited the services today and found them very dirty. The whole place looked unclean and when I visited the ladies toilets, although the sign said that a male cleaner was cleaning them he was now where to be seen. Half the cubicles had out of order notices on them and those that were available were dirty, the toilet paper didn't fit the holders and so was in fragments on the floor. Many of the toilets didn't flush. It was like being in a third world country.

It was a few months ago that I stopped at Thurrock Services on the way back from France. After a long journey and a rough ferry trip, I wanted to stop off for a coffee and snack.

I stopped at Thurrock Services, but wasn't impressed. The staff looked bored, and I found myself paying a small fortune for a coffee, sandwich and bag of sweets for the passengers. It cost way too much.
