Faeces on the toilet roll holder, toilets filthy, Costa ridiculously under-staffed

Stopped for petrol as desperate. Prices for diesel were exorbitant at 155.9p per litre. 23p per litre higher than in the Scottish Highlands. Shockingly expensive. The gents toilet in the petrol station shop was disgusting. Stank of urine and looked as if it needed a serious clean and refurbishment.

Stopped here with a colleague on a particularly long journey home with lots of traffic delays.

Within minutes of entering we became instantly depressed with the ugly monolithic tower and peeling paint. Staff looked and acted almost suicidal at having to work in such a horrible building with very smelly toilets, bad food, obvious lack of building maintenance. Will NEVER!! return even if my bowels were struggling to hold on.
