After paying 2250 for a hgv course for my son we have had nothing, no replies to letters, emails, they wont answer any phone calls, they should be hung

I.ve paid to the LGV Group 2550 pounds and after a while they did not answered anymore at my emails and to my phone calls. I received, finally, an email saying they ceased trading because of insolvency. How can i get all my money back? This is unbelievable, and i am not the only one, i have read the reviews and since 2014 people are complaining about paing the money and didn.t receive the services for they paying. I wand to make a legal action against them and claim my money back and get the compensations for my time, stress, as well.

We acted as a third party for this company. The four clients who came to us for CAT C & CAT C + E driver training were very happy with our service. They were already disgruntled with LGV Group. LGV Group have not paid us for one of the courses that we completed. They lie to you when you eventually get to speak to them by using a different number (if they recognise your number - they don't answer the phone), needless to say emails go unanswered. She is such a devious liar, but she will come across a very nice and accommodating on the telephone at first when she wants something from you. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

I paid 1000 pound now they are saying ur course is expired

I passed theory test for category D in january. I was waiting until may for practical training. I failed the test than I paid 300 for another test it was 7 weeks ago and still waiting. Houw can I pass the test like this? I forgot evrithing alredy. If you do any driving training make sure you can complet all the training soon as possible otherwise it takes forever.

Did my Category C+e with The lgv group, I personally can't fault them, booked and paid and wanted very specific dates which I have been given, the training ran as smooth as anything, I passed first time and the instructor was brilliant.

Due to the dates I wanted there wasn't a test available for me so I had to come back the following week and do it but they had no problem accommodating this, decent people and flexible training which is what you need when you work full time as I do.

I would NEVER Book any training with this company or recommend a friend or my worst enemy!!

Promised an exceptional service delivered total shocking service..

After being made redundant from my company for 18 years I decided to train as a cat c driver. Call the company and asked a list of questions which another driving school advised me to ask every training company I was considering to train with.

This company answered all of the question with the answers I was excepting AMAZING,TO GOOD TO BE TRUE !!!!

Paid my money, received a link for the hazard and theory training all was going good, called the company to book the test and passed first time on both, then the troubles started !!

Called straight away and I was told over the telephone the test would be booked at the nearest test center to me, they would call me back with dates. No reply for 4 days,they would not answer calls or emails. Finally got through 3 hours before my fight out of the country, was assured my test would be booked Have A Great Holiday..Returned 10 days later called to get my test dates to find that the test was not booked!!Offered me another location and later dates which I had to take as I needed to pass ASAP.Called and called, emailed, just to receive conformation which I did receive eventually.

Training was done by a third party training company which shocked me as I booked with LGV . HOW EVER THE TRAINING WAS GREAT !!

Failed on the day but that's life !! Re booked a new test the same day didn't have any choice but to book with LGV. I was PROMISED 2 to 3 weeks no more.I was Calling to try and get conformation , emailing and even went to the head office in London to get some answers,which was just a mailing address.I finally got through to the office after calling about 20 times a day to find out that my retest was not even booked MORE LIES

I have now lost the job I had lined up and had to book training again at a cost £1250, in a different area as LGV told me I was not able to book with the training company who did my trainingas we had a contract !!!!

LGV Group totally let me down with a very poor service from start to finish..

They do not provide proper training.Everything that they want to do is to take your money and after that they do not care about you.Instructors for D category are terrible. Good luck!

I would like to briefly introduce the company's actions. Initially, it was reported as a potential customer promise you everything, I'll help to get work, short terms of exams, etc. Everything sounds perfect. Until the exam ... because appointment booking takes for them about a month or even two months. In contrast, my second theoretical exam I booked directly on exam center and I had a lot of available days from day to day(!!!), where the company took more than a month. At the next stage, and the exam on the previous stage, they kindly ask you and soon you pass the exam you are asked to pay, because I promise you quick exam date, later, of course, again you wait ... at least a month. Unfortunately, at this stage, you can not book it yourself, they must do it, it is related with examiner and bus hire, etc. Wait ... Wait if you will .. that's another exam waiting for the next month or two months. Finally after passing the practical exam, you start your CPC, of ​​course, I was asked for payment for the exam for a practical examination., you want to do it, as you are in the middle of the course. I was asked to pay six months earlier! Finally after next month of waiting, I passed the exam. Just one exam left, the second exam CPC. Company promises they book the available date, of course, says it's getting, but after checking out of the examination center turns out that no one not even contacted them in my case. I would add that even then passed 8 month from when they received the full amount for the CPC (!!!) Finally, I asked for a refund so much because I did not want to wait for the CPC theoretical, I was told that there is no problem, but the refund amount will be reduced by 25% fee and an additional 100 pounds of the registration fee. t&c says you will get full refund if you cancel within7 days, you cannot us you are not provided with any information at this time I consider it is a theft, because in my case they did NOTHING. I have organized everything by myself. The company, after receiving the money does not answer phones, deceives you, lies, but to the worst then you say your name, they put off the handset(!!!) and obviously not call you back. They take money and do nothing. Your exams with them will take at least one year, you can not change school because you will loose a lot of money and they will do nothing they have.

My son lost his money despite passing theory test on second attempt. A hand injury prevented booking practical straight away but he tried for four months to book practical test - promises to book test and call back, repeated messages left even up to last date for booking was promised test but no calls returned and no response to messages left! Now after an email sent was told we are no longer entitled to money back because the 12 months had expired!! Because he used the telephone to try book all courses they say they have had no communication from my son! now he is left in severe hardship because he had saved so hard for this course he cant afford another course and has lost his promised job!! I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RATE THIS COMPANY, AND WISH I HAD READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE MY SON PAID HARD EARNT MONEY. I wish that these reviews were attached to their web site so others could make informed views before speaking to them
