Booked My Lesson On 27th August 2016, Was Told Aft

Booked my lesson on 27th August 2016, was told after few days (5 days later) that instructor is not available in my area and entitled for full refund. Initiated a ticket based refund request on 2nd September (ticket number: 13474). email on 22nd Sept, 2016 with no response. Rang on 10 October and was assured that I will get a refund however no joy. Again rang on 28th October 2016 and still wait for any good news from them. Today on 15th November Rang and I was given 20th number in the Queue. I feel like robed, cheated, looted. I will wait for their response in a day or two otherwise I will paste my emails here and also name and shame the customer services people I have spoken with. I will then wait for a week or two then I'm seriously thinking about taking legal action against them, also i will spread my words in every possible social media websites.

Plz stay away from them. They will get your money and run away!!!

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY !!!

On 4 August 2016 I Bought 10 Lessons From Drive Dy

On 4 August 2016 I bought 10 lessons from Drive Dynamics (Dynamic Franchises LTD) and I paid £355.95

Four days later (8 August 2016) I contacted them for the first time to complain that I did not received a text message or a phone call from my allocated instructor. They told me I have to wait 3-7 working days to be contacted my my instructor which was unacceptable because on 12 September I have the practical test, so the operator transferred me to the allocation department which transferred me to a gentleman who didn't answer his phone and when I tried to leave a voicemail the robot told me that the inbox is full and I can't leave a message.

I decided to wait a few more days, maybe the instructor will contact me and after a week I still wasn't contacted by anyone so I contacted them again to request a full refund because I couldn't wait anymore. The operator told me to write an e-mail to the customer service department and ask for a full refund.

On 11 August I wrote the e-mail and I requested a full refund. 10 days later I still didn't received the money or at least a confirmation e-mail from an operator that my request will be processed so I called again. The operator told me I have to wait up to 14 days to receive the money. I had no choice so I decided to wait another 4 days.

The term limit has expired and I still didn't received the money.

DD: "The system doesn't show anything but this doesn't mean it isn't dealt with"

Me: But the 14 days term has expired

DD: "Well, actually it's 14 WORKING days" (which is a lie, on their website says 14 days not working days)

T&C: "You may cancel a booking for lesson(s) within 14 days of the Booking by completing the Cancellation Form set out at the end of these Terms and Condition and sending this to your instructor or Us. If you have made any payment in advance of the lessons Your Instructor will rearrange your Lessons or refund these amounts to you within 14, should lessons be cancelled outside of the 14 days and lessons have begun no refund will be issued."

Review Of Drive Dynamics

I wish I'd saved time and money by looking for reviews of this company before booking with them. My experience is similar to many of the reviews on here.

Basically, I bought a £99 lesson plan for 7 hours thinking I wouldn't have to worry about handing money over during the lesson, just get on with it, and then at the end of the 7 hours take my test. Nope.

Unfortunately, at the end of the first lesson, my instructor told me that I could have another lesson in three days but I would have to pay £20.

Later I rang saying that I would prefer just to take my pre-booked as that's what I wanted anyway.

For some reason, my instructor said I would have to wait until next Monday, because he had "paying students" on a Thursday.

I accepted this giving the benefit of the doubt but something unexpected came up and I had to cancel my Monday lesson, which I did a few days in advance. My instructor responded by saying that I was "having problems" and should call him when I was ready to take my lessons. The next time I rang a few days later, my instructor said he could not get me in for any lessons until the end of the month, nearly four weeks after my first lesson! Unbelievable. Holding me to ransom and breaking their own terms of service.

Getting my money back looks like its going to be difficult. Customer service are very in your face and you won't get a refund by keeping them on the phone. The company play you off against the instructors when they are the real enemy - accepting money but no responsibility.

The best thing to do initially is go to trading standards and take their advice, they will tell you to write a letter to them via recorded delivery asking for a refund and why you are due one.

Anyone who is willing to take this further by making a claim in the small claims court should contact me.

It is possible to make a claim with multiple claimants and we could organise this amongst ourselves.

Making a claim for amounts under £300 in the small claims court costs only £25 to do online so please seriously consider doing this. I am not 100% but I think you can get back your fee from the defendant if they lose.

I really think this is a money grabbing and unethical company that has been allowed to get away with it for too long, we should do something about it.

I'm glad I've read this, I just had a call from them after I send a query on their contact form on their website... Instead of being interested in answering any questions i had, he was pretty forceful in trying to get me to book lessons.... Such tactics really puts me off a company. Forceful, unhelpful and disinterested.... I'll be taking my business elsewhere

Totally Shocking Service - Disgusting

I bought 10 lessons for my son in December 2014 as part of his Christmas gift. I called Drive Dynamics in January to start the lessons and was told that an instructor would call within 5 days to arrange a start date. Well, I am still waiting for that call nearly 3 weeks down the line. I have been spoken to in a disgusting manner by "sales people" and "customer service" and still have had no resolve for the matter. I requested a full refund and provided the details that they needed for this to happen and again have not received any confirmation when or even that the refund will be made. I have contacted Trading Standards as Drive Dynamics are in Breach of Contract. i have given them until 5pm Friday to refund me and to compensate me. Please do not use this company at all!!!

Very Bad Company

I used this company to purchase the 10 lessons for £100 offer back in November 14 for my step-daughter who has just commended working in home-care and needs her driving licence ASAP. After one lesson her instructor then cancelled the next 3 in a row at short notice and since then has been telling her he 'will come back to her' with her next lesson date but never has. I have sent numerous e-mails to this company requesting my money back but have had no response whatsoever. I have also tried calling them on many occasions but the number just rings and rings with no answer. How this company are still in business is beyond me, I would advise anyone wishing to learn to drive to stay well clear unless you want to lose your money!

Hi there, I have had the same problem as you and after nearly 4 weeks of emails and telephone calls I have had my refund. Keep trying but look on companies house for drive dynamics, it dissolved in 2011!!!!!

Truly Awful Customer Service

I booked some lessons for my son stressing how quickly he was planning on taking his test. After 2 weeks of chasing them the driving instructor still had not contacted us to arrange the lessons so I requested a full refund. After getting no response and chasing them again numerous times I finally received an email asking to confirm the card details so that a refund could be made. On doing this and still not receiving any refund I finally managed to contact their accounts department who assured that the refund would be received within 28 days. Needless to say this has expired and I have now commenced legal proceedings for recovery against the company.

Fantastic

Drive Dynamics are great, Fantastic laid back, patient instructor. Would never have passed without my great instructor. Would recommend to anyone ;)

Had about 20 or so hours and nailed my test with only three faults.

I paid cash every lesson so i didnt sign up for the deals.

I Have Been More Than Happy With My Lesson's With

I have been more than happy with my lesson's with my instructor. I have tried twice before with other companies but didn't feel comfortable with my instructor's. From the start my instructor made me feel comfortable, pushing me but not terrifying me as I was very nervous to start with. With histeaching and support I am nearly ready for my test. Thanks

As a new driving instructor, Drive Dynamics have been so helpful in getting my business off the ground and set up with new pupils, and it's not just with the pupil side of the business, but the everyday support and help that is needed with any new venture.

I would recommend Drive Dynamics to any driving instructor new or established if they are looking to maximise pupil intake then this is the company to be with.

An Absolute Pleasure 5*

My wife bought me some lessons in a bundle from Drive Dynamics as a birthday present as i wouldn't get off my backside and sort it out, i'm glad she did as it was such fun, i wish id done it years ago!

My instructor was able to move appointments if i had a work/babysitter issue my end with no fuss.

He made me feel at total ease with the whole driving experience and remained calm when i made mistakes and was full of sound advice, i found his lessons to be fun and found myself looking forward to them.

In the run up to my test he ensured i was totally prepared and on test day i confidently walked into the test center and passed first time with few minors.

I thank him for all the help and advice and for teaching me to drive properly.

I would recommend Drive Dynamics to anybody that asks me where i went.
