Sterling Eccles Coral ( Year 2000 ) Product:
Sterling Eccles Coral ( year 2000 )
Product: Sterling Eccles Coral
Rating:
Advantages: Good value for money and good build quality
Disadvantages: No Disadvantages with this van
The year 200 Eccles Coral must be one of the best layouts I've come across.
2 good size bunks / seating area at the front that are long enough to stretch out on during the day and a good size seating area at the rear of the van that is ideal as a dinette or if you want to make it into a fixed bed at the rear then its just the job as it will take a full sized mattress 4'6" wide and not like a lot of other vans that I have looked at that are only 45 or 46" wide.........I would put my own mattress in there which would be a bit softer than the cushions that are already there and leave it up permanent. The chest at the front is OK for putting a cup of tea on and when opened up into a small table it's large enough to eat off so no need to get out that free standing table....... Not that i'm lazy! .
The heating is fine on the van in fact its better than most as the blown air pipes run inside the van unlike most other vans which have the pipes coming out of the van in front of the axle , passing under the axle and then coming back into the van at the rear, and of course if it's winter time that hot air is returning into the van at the rear as cold air........... Try it sometime, when it's cold outside just hold your hand at the front air vent of your van and then go to one of the rear one's and feel the difference.
It's an ideal van for a couple who are looking for a fixed bed layout but have also the option of the extra bunk above. It's also ideal for a couple of Oldies ( well over 50's) who may take one of the grandchildren on weekend breaks as there's that bunk at the back that is just the job for little ones and it's even got its own step..
Al in all a pretty good Van and a layout that's getting like hens teeth to find.....
What would you pay!
(For a year 2000 no more than 6K. £5600 0r £5800 would be better )..........
Well any second hand van at any dealer no matter what the price is in the window you take £700 off straight away and thats for vans that are priced at £6500 and £900 if the vans is priced up at £10,000 or over and that is as long as everything is OK in the Van,..........THATS YOUR STARTING OFFER.......
