Lunar Clubman 475 CK

This is our second clubman(clearly didnt learn by our first mistake!!) only bought due to layout so our dog can sleep in doorway.

been away three times and problems with bed slat mechanism each time. Slats replaced before this trip but still not right. Alde heating system so slow we are using the oven with the door open!! Health & Safety!!

Anyone had problems with our faults?

Nice design but badly let down by unreliability. In first year (seven outings)returned to dealers 3 times and engineer called out a fourth. Serious repairs including corner steady breaking on first outing, micro wave catching fire, circuit board in fridge replaced, leaks and window blind coming away from wall. Numerous other small problems in caravan. Written to Lunar several times but basically uninterested despite having had spoint holidays and costs of taking van back and forward to dealers from storage.

THIS IS THE WORST CARAVAN I HAVE EVER OWNED ( I'VE HAD 6) I'VE HAD 14 FAULTS STARTING WITH CATCHES ON DRAWERS & WARDROBE DOOR BROKEN, DRAINING BOARD WAS DISTORTED THIS WAS ON DELIVERY BRAND NEW.FIRST NIGHT AWAY I DISCOVERED A HOLE IN A WINDOW BLIND,BATTERY CHARGER NOT WORKING APPARENTLY THE POWER LEAD KEEPS VIBRATING OUT OF THE CHARGER AS THE VAN IS TOWED.

NEXT THE BOLT ON WASHROOM DOOR COME ADRIFT,THE SHOWER HEAD KEEPS SLIDING DOWN THE SHOWER RAIL.RED WARNING LIGHT FOR THE TOILET WASTE TANK STOPPED WORKING.

THE FIRE KEEPS FALLING OFF THE CABINET (3 TIMES)EACH TIME I'M TOLD IT IS NOW SECURE & WILL NOT COME OF ANY MORE, TIME WILL TELL.NUMOUROUS PROBLEMS WITH CABINET DOOR HINGES SCREWS COMING LOOSE, HINGE PINS WORN CAUSING THE DOOR TO DROP WHEN THEY OPEN.FRIDGE DOOR TOP HINGE HAD TO BE REPLACED AS THE DOOR DROPS 1/2" WHEN OPEN.

ALARM ONLY WORKS WITH PIR WILL NOT TRIP BY ANY OTHER MEANS. THEN AT IT'S FIRST SERVICE WHEN THE VAN WAS 11 MONTHS OLD IT FAILED ITS DAMP CHECK, IT NEEDED A WALL BOARD & WINDOW SEALS TO BE REPLACED.WHAT WILL FALL OFF OR VIBRATE LOOSE NEXT TIME THE VAN IS USED.I CONTACTED LUNAR CARAVANS DIRECT ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY WERE SORRY FOR THE PROBLEMS I'D HAD BUT THEY WOULD REPAIR ANY FUTURE FAULTS UNDER THE WARRANTY,I WAS TOLD JUST THE SAME BY THE DEALER WHO SUPPLIED THE CARAVAN.
