Our experience with Highbridge

We bought a new motorhome from Highbridge Caravans in April and were very impressed with the service, particularly from our salesman, Simon. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled several unexpected external supplier issues without letting it affect our experience.

On collection day, we were given a courtesy car and welcomed by the lovely lady, who made time for us with lots of lovely chat.

Another lady then gave us a thorough handover and remained professional even when a few pre-delivery issues came to light — the worst being a poorly resealed windscreen.

There were some hiccups, including incorrect DVLA weight details and a few snags discovered on our drive home. However, after sales handled all our queries well despite having a workload clearly more than one person should handle.

That said, Highbridge could save themselves time and money by ensuring things are done right first time.

Brilliant Service

Our experience with Highbridge began last October when we purchased a VW Campervan. The process from initial contact on our arrival from South Wales through to purchase was first class. The approach of all the members of staff who we were in contact with put us at ease and we felt confident that we were making the right decision.

We were recently with the After Sales Team and again, we can't fault the service provided. Mash attended to our needs and the minor issue was resolved without question. Again, we were made to feel welcome and at ease and nothing was too much trouble. She was right - she really could make a nice cup of tea. Thank you.

Hab check and service

Had our chausson habcheck and service today and have to say the customer service was excellent everyone being very polite and friendly we dropped off moho early and had a phone call lunch time to say all done and ready we even had a courtesy car we and our van were very well looked after can highly recommend will always use again very efficient

Strange at it may seem I had a fantastic service from every department that was involved with my purchase of my new to me caravan I can only say that I had a wonderful time from start to finish and would highly recommend this company if I had to name one thing that upset me it was that the lovely hot chocolate cups should be three times bigger it was a very welcome sight as the weather was a bit cold and dismal well done high bridge 10/10

Overall Service

Absolutely appalling service all round.

Bought a 2004 Autosleeper Duetto in Jan this year.

Only when I collected it was I told that Highbridge had had to replace the windscreen due to a known water leak.

The windscreen continued to leak in Jun on a trip around Ireland.

One day after purchase the fuel pump failed and the staff insisted I had mis fuelled the vehicle! They eventually replaced the pump.

Today I had the van back again from them after a long delay - they say they have refitted the windscreen and both front door seals - the drivers side seal is hanging off the frame and the passenger side has not been touched.

DO NOT purchase from this company - no communication between departments of with the customer.

Faulty Awning

I recently purchased an awning from Highbridge and had only used it 3 times when it developed a fault. I was dreading the process that I would need to go through to get a repair but was amazed at how easy this was.

From my first contact with Highbridge, I thought it was almost too good to be true. He was so helpful, friendly and efficient and he sorted out my issue immediately. I don't think I have ever experienced such an easy and hassle free after sales service.

Thank you so much for taking the stress out of the situation. 100% recommend these guys!

Fantastic After Sales Team

Massive shout out to the after sales team, we went into limp mode on M5 with our motorhome, 200 miles from home and 100 miles from our final destination, we managed to get to Highbridge and cannot put into words how fantastic we were looked after by the after sales team and their technicians. They gave us a courtesy car and worked on our motorhome and told to enjoy our day, we had to stay over night but they made sure we had our motorhome to sleep in, they kept us fully informed, we felt a part of the lovely family that are the after sales team. Thank you so much

Excellent Customer Service

Bought a caravan January this year, delivered to the place we requested on time by a lovely guy who was extremely helpful. We were given a 6 months warranty, after a couple of times staying the toilet cassette broke, I contacted the aftersales was helped by a lovely lady and asked just for pictures and a number that was on the cassette. I was contacted straight away and a new toilet is ready for collection (which was what we requested). I would like to say as an older couple we were given the confidence by Highbridge that they are true to their word when selling vehicles/caravans that they are always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommend this company they do exactly what they say they will do it there is a problem. Well done to you guys from start to finish.

Pleasure To Deal With Highbridge Caravans

We bought a Pennine Pathfinder from Highbridge in Somerset. Everyone at that branch extremely friendly and helpful. It was delivered directly to our pitch in Paignton and the tutorial given to us before delivery made setting up so easy. We had a couple of small issues that we didn’t quite understand and went to the local Highbridge branch in Devon and again everyone was so helpful and gave the advice we needed. We are now all set up and extremely happy with our purchase and the service we have received.

I purchased my Swift Challenger 530 Caravan in 2010 and have always levelled the van and then put down the corner steadies. Some people say you can use the steadies to level the Caravan would that be possible with this model?
