Truely A Great Van
hi . ive had my astra van for about 9 months now and its just been an auwsome van ive never had any problems with it and its never let me down. its done just over 60,000 and its a 57 reg. the only thing that i would change about it it that when unloaded it seams a bit wobly but as soon as i puts a bit of load in it hunckers down and the handlings fine.ive seen other reveiws that say that the vans are slugish and slow but i think its just the driver as my van is as quick as any 1.7 dti. any way i think that any ones a fool to turn down a 1.3 astra.

Purchased Van October 2009 40,000miles On The Cloc
Purchased van october 2009 40,000miles on the clock, within first month water pump and alternater mount needed replacing main dealer carried out repair. January 2010 clutch has gone main dealer doesnt cover wear and tear of clutch so took to independant garage charged £1,000+. What wil go wrong next!!!!Bad buy. Had 1.7 astravan v reg prior it same clutch and water pump for 10 years regretfully sold due to its poor bodywork..
The plus points of the van are appearance, heater, seats thats about it.

Had An Vauxhall Astravan For 95,000 Miles Looked F
Had an Vauxhall Astravan for 95,000 miles looked forward to a new one. When delivered and a quick spin later I proceeded to beg the transporter driver to take the new van back (even offered to change the plates). 1st gear poor, 2nd gear non existent, 3rd gear slow at best, 4th gear now were hitting 40, 5th gear ok now its happening 6th gear, 6th gear, 6th gear, am i still in fifth?
Indicators what were they thinking?
Seats - its like sitting under a boat looking up at the fish.
Throw a flat stone accross a flat calm loch and watch it skip, same as driving this van down a flat road only with less control. To cover it got rid of it after 2 tanks of fuel and a threat of resignation and now drive a perfectly capable ugly Citroen.
