This Is My 4th Transit, 2 Mk5's A Mk6 And Now A Mk
This is my 4th transit, 2 mk5's a mk6 and now a mk7. I bought this van new 6months ago, it had to have the screen replaced under warranty because only half of it worked and its due to go in for an intermitent fault where the engine judders when accelerating. My mk6 was excellent, i did 110000 trouble free miles in it, I hope the mk7 is as faultless. Im impressed with the 30mpg it returns, good for a lwb hi roof van. I went for the 330 110ps front wheel drive because it has the same payload as a rear wheel drive 350 115ps yet its approx a thousand pounds cheaper, a thousand pounds for 5hp extra???.Also there is more head room in the rear because the floor is lower due to not having a prop shaft, i think alot of people arnt aware you can get a fwd with a ton and a half payload because the dealers always seem to offer 350's.I ordered mine from the factory with a few toys on and metallic paint but had to wait 9months for it. Lots of people comment on how nice it looks, something noone ever did with my white mk6. Over all, so far, i love this van, far better looking than anything else on the market.
