I Saw A Metalic Blue Ford Ranger Thunder With Vipe

I saw a Metalic Blue Ford Ranger Thunder with viper stripes at my local dealer in January this year and was amazed at the price - £14,999 ex vat. I thought it looked fantastic but at the time dismissed it as too good to be true and as I was driving a BMW 535d at the time decided to stick with it. The Ranger disapeared from the forecourt soon after. I was made redundant in February and after much angst decided to sell the BMW and buy something cheaper. Not long after, another Ranger 3.0 Ltr in the same colour scheme turned up at the dealership and I decided to enquire about it. It turned out to be a one owner vehicle but with only 67 miles on the clock. The price was too good to turn down and I have now had it for 6 weeks and covered 1,200 miles in it. I have never had so much fun. Yes, it's utilitarian and it bounces about on rough roads but that's what appeals to me. It is noisy on start up but when warmed up is quiet enough. The torque is great and it is a good cruiser on the motorway. Trips to the dump - no problem now. I hope to hang onto the Ranger for a long time and I am sure it will give me years of pleasure.

I Have A 57 Plate Ford Ranger 3.0 Td Wildtrak, I L

I have a 57 plate Ford Ranger 3.0 td Wildtrak, I love it to bits and as stated in the previous review it gets a lot of attention, I got it has I spend quiet a bit of time shooting on the farm and it has so much torque it just goes everywhere with ease, the only thing I changed was over the last few months with it being so boggy on the farm I took my original wheel off and road tyres and packed them away and put a set of cheaper alloys with BFG Mud Terrains fitted and what a difference it made I found with the HT tyres that came standard the truck just has far too much torque in slippery conditions to put the power down it would spin as soon as you touched the throttle but with the MT that are made for the job it doesn't matter how boggy it got the truck would pull a house side down because the tyres grip loads better and the set up looks awsome to be honest proper meaty and beastly truck, :-)
