Lovely Car But.

This car ticked all my boxes untill the engine decided to cut out and not go above 2000 rpm. Been to 2 Volvo main dealers who put the diagnostic test on and unable to find reason. This is intermittent and very dangerous as it gives no warning at all that it will do this. After approx six miles it corrects itself and I just have to drive it like a nervous wreck as it will happen (4 times in as many weeks) again. Volvo only seem to work on computer information and so almost tell you there is nothing wrong. Now having to change a car that has everthing good going for it simply because Volvo cant be bothered to investigate beyond the computer reading. I have owned this car for 2 months with now only 12000 miles of wear. I for 1 will not be buying a Volvo again. The service is terrible.

Had My 2002 C70 2.0t For 5 Years Now And Its Been

had my 2002 C70 2.0T for 5 years now and its been a great car, its as happy to drive around town as it is cruising motorways. I even tow a large caravan with it (a convertible towing a caravan really turns heads !) bad points are the boot is extremely small, turning curve is not good (takes 3 shunts to get into most parking spaces) and rear visibilty is poor (as with most "rag tops" . Main dealers are a rip off but most garages can carry out fully services except only main dealers can read fault codes (and charge stupid money for it)would definately recomend these cars as they are now cheap to buy you get one hell of a lot of car for your money

No Matter What Driving The Car Makes You Feel Good

No matter what driving the car makes you feel good and stops the need for gym fees as driving it at speed gives your heart a good work out. Would I have another one is an easy question the answer being yes as for the money not much comes close. The car makes you feel special in the best possible way, and the girls seem to like it. My version is probably not helped by the fact that I have filled the car with a stereo system to wake the dead, although the standard unit was not too bad. The original amp looking very much as if it were built by Alpine.

Shameful that a large vehicle manufacturer, who put safefty high in their advertisments, can produce an unstable car which does not just handle badly it leaps all over the place.

Volvo failed to produce a car that stays on the road surface... unbeleivable!

Volvo C70 2.0 T Auto Convertible Is A Beautiful Lo

Volvo C70 2.0 T Auto Convertible is a beautiful looking car. It portrays Elegance, Class & Style. This well built, tank of an invention, is packed full of head-turning features & functions from the well designed fold-down roof/to the glamorous, heated leather interior & wood-effect dash. For 'Raw Sex-Appeal', this car would fetch blood from a stone & attract a 10/10 even from the likes of Peter Stringfellow.. I would strongly recommend this car to anyone with a budget of around £10,000...... 2002/3..awesome!

Awesome Yet Effortless Speed From The 240bhp T5 Mo

Awesome yet effortless speed from the 240bhp T5 model. The Automatic gearbox works well and its a good match to the engine. Fantastic creature comforts and all the toys you'd typically expect to find on such a car. Smooth, fast and more comfortable than you'd imagine. Some models suffer from the EMT (electronic throttle module) issue. The repair cost at the moment is around £250 fully inclusive at Volvo dealerships.

I've found that Volvo dealerships owned by 'Stratstone' have higher service charges and experienced customer/service care at Stratstone Volvo as quite poor in general too.

The aftersales customer service is diabolical... a shambles!

I don't understand why I have to pay for the reprogramming of my C70 computer... if they had got it right in the first place then it wouldn't have a problem.
