I've Just Buy A New Mi16 Power That I Would Like T
I've just buy a new MI16 power that I would like to combine with my 205. My current power is a T8, but during the last run in Madagascar I've seen that it is impossible for 1.9 or 1.6 205 to run with a MI16.

This Car Bears No Relation At All To The Original
This car bears no relation at all to the original Peugeot 205 1.9 in any sense, and should be placed in a section of this site entitled 'Modified Old Cars' or 'sub 200 quid death traps'. The original Peugeot 205 1.9 was a great car, I know, I drove one. Shoe-horning a different engine in to what is already a thrashed worn out 15 year old banger is the stuff of fools or people who want to be cut out of their car by the emergency services....

You've Heard It Before? "oh It's Easy To Install
You've heard it before? "Oh it's easy to install an Mi-16 engine into a 205 gti. Move one mount, chop the inlet manifold" ,etc, etc. It's not if you want it done right, and if someone says it is, just nod your head and walk away. Get it done right, and it is a really worthwhile conversion. The first thing you notice is the lack of bottom end torque over the standard 1.9 (although the Mi-16 has more torque, but at a different rpm), but when you hit 4500 rpm and all hell breaks loose, you smile again all the way to 7000 rpm. These cars will go from 0-60 in around 6.6 secs and go on to 140 mph before the limiter sets in, combine that with the legendary 205 gti handling and you have super car performance and handeling at mini car costs, combined with reliability.
But where do you find details on how to carry out a conversion?
totally agree with you m8 amazing handling and performance, but when you modify them they are a nightmare 2 sell. mines a modded 1.4 cab, and can i can't sell it.
