Cool Value For Money Although I Believe The Sporty
Cool value for money although I believe the sporty essence is still displayed using petrol. I'm of the age where I like the options the ZT offer so I'm not the best to evaluate this car I like it... and am looking forward to enjoying the overall value and performance of my Next ZT MG are cool, great for working man.

What Can I Say About The Mg Zr 2.0lt Tdi 115+ Spor
What can I say about the MG ZR 2.0lt TDI 115+ sports car? If it can go wrong it's either going to or gone wrong with titanic proportions, and just when I've got it ready to flog it, something else goes wrong, whether it be electrical or mechanical! I don't know what to do. I'm stuck with the darn thing.
A few months on I have had no luck selling so have decided to run it into the ground but since then I will list the further problems I have encountered. 1, standard fit wheels and tyres rub against the shocks at the front and springs at the back and the dealer said this is common just fit spacers. 2, back tyres had completely worn through hand brake cable again cannot be moved and fixed with the wheel spacers. 3, calipers cause uneven wear on the disks and so this means both disks and pads need replacing at the same time every time. 4, car floods inside in the rain, 2 inches no kidding! 5, front indicators steam up. 6, I've been through 3 replacement wing mirror glasses 2 on driver side they literally fell off while driving. 7, leather look seats now look like a map with all the splits. 8, car drops out of reverse most of the time while reversing. 9, the water feed tube to rear window became brittle and burst "nightmare to find". 10, srs air bag light has come on dealer said there is no fault but quoted £££'S to reset so I'll live with it thanks. 11, heater blower coil has burnt out twice £35 quid to replace easy to fix. 12, ball joint on both the front wheels had to be replaced. 13, left hand front gator had to be replaced.
There are a few more but can't think right now. I know this might be hard to believe but I felt every one should know haw bad my experience has been but this doesn't mean this will happen to you. but its only 6 years old and I've owned it for about a year so this shouldn't be happening.

2005 Mg Zr 2.0lt Tdi 115+. This Car Is
2005 MG ZR 2.0lt TDI 115+.
This car is an experience by its self. With the lowered sports suspension and the Back and front disks you are ready to get on those country roads and test the car to the max! Insurance is fairly expensive being 21 with 0 No claims but for what you get its worth every penny. I had a 1992 BMW 320i SE and I can say to people that think Rover has not stepped up into the 21 centry. They have!
Interior - Great looking with the leather seating, pump seats (which helps your @@@ on those sports suspension). The only thing bad is the inside door handle. Its plastic!!
Looks - Sporty body work with 17" alloys you cant go wrong!
Overall - Great car!

The Mg Zr Is A Good All Round Performer Let Down B
The MG ZR is a good all round performer let down by build quality' bad driving position and nochy gears and the 105 could do with ventalated discs. But the good old k-series still gives a kick by ek you can throw the car round some corners. GET A MINI

I Got The 115+ Td Mg Zr Sports Car Last May, It's
I got the 115+ TD MG ZR sports car last may, it's a very good looking car that handles well round country lanes and motorways, it also gives me a grin when ever I see it. Its economical and once above 45mph you can get away from most vehicles on the road with minimal of effort(slap it in 5th and put your foot down, the torque does the rest). The first year I took the car back to the dealer a lot, but after the 'running in' period it all seems OK.
To summise, good engine, good brakes, stunning looks, niggling rattles :( but I love it.

I Bought A Zr+ 2.0td With All The Goodies Includin
I bought a ZR+ 2.0TD with all the goodies including A/C early June, after this period it now has to go. Traveling along motorways is horrendous, so much noise that you either give up talking, or raise your voice and end up with a sore throat. At higher speeds the engine sounds like its having its guts ripped out, thats when a Diesel Astra goes by!!! When the turbo cuts in while using first gear your head jumps back, both passenger and driver eventually have neck ache, in other gears great just takes off.
Otherwise a great little car, OK around town but not for country lanes.
I drive mine around the back roads of Norfolk. It gets ten out of ten all the time. Great litle car.
My ZR loves country lanes.
Thanks for the review, could'nt understand why you would still recommend it after your comments. I will certainly want to test drive one for a couple of days before I decide due to your comments on Motorway driving as I travel 70 miles a day. Thanks again.
