Handling Is So Easy To Balance And Have Fun. Power

Handling is so easy to balance and have fun.

Power delivery as standard is smooth and strong all the way round the clock.

If you can own and use an FD3S, RX7 in your lifetime dont miss the chance!

If You Can Afford The Maintenance Of The Mazda Rx-

If you can afford the maintenance of the Mazda RX-7, know someone that can work on its unique twin turbo Wankel engine.

This car is just a one of a kind beauty way worth the maintenance.

Personally I think this is one of the coolest more beautiful ingenious cars ever made.I love this car!

Don't Believe The Myths When People Say You Can't

Don't believe the myths when people say you can't get parts for grey imports. I needed a clutch, made one phone call and had it within the hour. The RX7 is a beautiful car to look at and drive. Also if you look after them the engines will last for a very long time. Watch out for cars advertised as never taken over 4,000 rpm this is bad for a rotary engine (once the oil is warm take the engine all the way to 9,000 rpm, as this ensure you don't get carbon build ups, which destroy rotors and rotor housing.

I Have Just Parted With My Japanese Import, The Ma

I have just parted with my Japanese import, the Mazda RX-7 rx7 Efinei. After spending over £8500 on the Jap bullet, I must say it was a pleasure to own from start to finish, despite the expense. To cut a long story short here is my rx7 experience:

Bought standard with 276 hp, engine pressure fell and eventually stopped working in Christmas 2004, so sent to WGT Automotive in Northwich, Cheshire. The engine was rebuilt, purred like a cat who got the cream. Added parts including apexi ecu and varios other bits and bobs, power upped to 380bhp, still not mad enough! More bits added, ended up with a crazy black rotary powered beast with around 495 bhp which did nearly 190mph! Lots of tyre shredding ensued. Raced a 355 Ferrari. Won! Raced a Mitsi Evo 6. Won! Outpaced an Aston Martin v12 Vanquish easily. I had lots of fun with cheap insurance and road tax monster car.

Sold my stupidly fast Jap Mazda. Now I'm sad. I want another but I'm getting married in April. Will swap wife for a good Mazda rx7!

If you want one, just buy one, forget the cost. Just drive and have lots and lots of fun!!! The ultimate Jap import, forget Mitsis and Scoobys, the rx7 demolishes all that stands in its path!!! Lets just hope the rx8 is as good.

This Is A Quote I Thought Everyone Would Like To H

This is a quote I thought everyone would like to hear, and comes from a guy named greg in north vancouver, british columbia, canada. I think he is the most knowledgeable person I've come across with probably over fifteen years working with these wonder's (rotory engines)a friend of mine is very impressed with his work, however I have yet to get my engine done up. Anywho have a good read!

Mazda Rx-7's Are Addictive To Drive And Own Once Y

Mazda Rx-7's are addictive to drive and own once you have one you will alway's want one. You have to understand how they work to appreciate them. The engine particularly, but the body is also an added bonus. You can alway's spot another on the road and you just wonder what's under that hood.

I Had My '92 Batmobile For 3 Years And Had A Great

I had my '92 Batmobile for 3 years and had a great experience. I bought my mazda Rx-7 second hand as an import from Japan and had very few mechanical problems - the key to this was proactive maintenance. I would recommend getting a full service completed upon purchasing your RX-7. It is worth finding a rotary engine specialist to service your vehicle - someone who appreciates these type of engines and will not charge excessively. Use authentic mazda rotary coolant to prevent corrosion and I recommend oil changes each 5,000kms. Consider fitting 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels too, they provide a great look.

Without A Doubt, The Mazda Rx-7 Is A Great Looking

Without a doubt, the Mazda Rx-7 is a great looking car. Unfortunately, that's the problem. Mazda created a car that looks so freaking AWESOME, but they didn't concentrate enough on its reliability. I can settle for an rx7 over a skyline or supra anyday ... that is whenever Mazda makes it more reliable to drive. The new rx8 is said to be really reliable, and that's good. But one question, where's the sporty look? It's big and bulky, and only one word can describe the new rx8, and that is YUCK!!! Overall impression: awesome looking car and its handling control is overall excellent! However, it's reliablity can kill your wallet faster than you can say "cheap."

hello david beckham, i like your comments, may i have your autograph?

david beckham

I can't believe he person who added this review and the guy who made that last comment. The RX7 is as reliable as you make it. If you maintain it proactively it will last and be much more reliable then a normal piston engine.

BSDgeek.

It was not designed to be reliable, it is a race car! Lets be real think about it, a rotary engine is not intended for every day driving. Get a clue!

This Mazda Rx-7 Car Is The Mad House. I Own An Exa

This Mazda Rx-7 car is the mad house. I own an exact replica of the RX-7 on Fast and the Furious, but I Zooped it up far far beyond it though. It is an 8 second car and rocks the joint. The car is very slim and quick. I love em. RX-7s are the best invention of the world

An 8 second car ?

I doubt it considering that the world's fastest street legal car does 1/4 mile in 8.2 seconds...

andyace

i can do a sub 7 sec run on my bike.

its a late seventies raleigh chopper with three gears.

it does tire me out though i must admit!

eatsv8s

come to australia and race an rx7, over here we the fastest rx7 runs7.5 also normal street tyred(untubbed)rx7's run 8.8's

supras have just started to run in the 9's and thats with (drag tyres)tubbed.

The most powerful rotary(20b) has 1254HP!! and only weighs

"if its not a rota then its not a motor"

Sosso.

My car has never been beaten by an RX-7.

It has cost me just over $100,000 for all the turbo up grades and nos kits and it still has most of its interior left in it.

I am currently investing in getting an RX-7 Series 6 and doing it up to compare them.

bought how much did you spend on your car????
