I Flipped My 96 Pontiac Grand Am Offroading And It
I flipped my 96 Pontiac Grand Am offroading and it landed on its side then I pushed it back over and drove it home but the only damage was a dent in the door and some scratches that I buffed out!

I Traded A High Performance V-8 Mustang In On This
I traded a high performance V-8 Mustang in on this Pontiac Grand Am SE1 Sports Car and I have had no regrets. The Mustang was faster and cornered better, but the Grand Am is no disappointment in performance, the ride is much better and it is a lot more enjoyable car to drive in every respect and under all conditions. The fuel mileage is exactly TWICE that of the Mustang (28 versus 14) and that was a major consideration. I've driven the Grand Am for just over two years with not a hint of trouble. I love the sleek and sporty styling, the bright red color and the many standard features that Pontiac includes in the SE-1 package. I was extremely disappointed that Pontiac dropped the beautifully styled Grand Am in favor of the ugly and unappealing G-6. I test drove a new G-6 and found it to be harsher riding, slower (even with the V-6) and available in colors ranging from mildly hideous to "I wouldn't be caught DEAD in that". I will drive my Grand Am another 100,000 miles, as it is far superior to its replacement.
