Bentley Continental GT 6.0

Replaced my Porsche 996 Turbo - very different car....

Had a dream holiday driving to Italy via France, Germany and Switzerland etc...

Unbelievable focus on the Bentley Continental GT 6.0 in Italy particularly - went to the ferrari and lamborgini factories/museums and absolutely amazed how much attention the car got. Really cannot think of any other car that could make the trip so amazing - a lifetimes ambition. All this with 3 of us in the car and easily accommodates the luggage.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to push the Bentley Continental to its full limits, but I was sufficiently satisfied after the test.

Luxury - excellent, well assembled, well finished off.

Comfort - excellent. Seats are well positioned, and accept one's body with a sense of seriousness about their purpose.

Power & performance - not for the faint-hearted. What one would expect from a GT tagged vehicle, especially coming from the Bentley stable.

Handling - very good for a vehicle which in some senses feels a bit like a tank - taking its overall size into account.

The Bentley Continental GT 6.0 is immensely comfortable like driving in an Armani suit, and is rocket fast with breathtaking exceleration. It has quietly understated good looks, a real wolf in sheep's clothing! It is however, expensive to service. I got 15mpg driving gently but who wants to drive it slowly? This car is happy at 30 mph, but put suspension in sports setting and time to play, straight or twisty roads and car would be just as happy at 170 mph!
