Audi Tt Roadster 225 Bhp

I have owned several sports cars ranging from the MG TF 160 to the BMW z4 and Porche boxter and in my opinion the Audi has far better build quality, performance, handling and value for money for a like aged car than any other sports car I have owned in the same class. This car is like being on rails when driving and the quattro handling certainly comes into its own when you need it. It puts a smile on my face espeecially with the top down. I have only had a very minor problem which was the headlight washer pump and replaced that very easily for £48.00. If you are considering purchasing a decently priced convertible sports car then you just cant go wrong with the Quattro 225 BHP.

I Love This Car. I've Had It Nearly 3 Years And It

I love this car. I've had it nearly 3 years and it's been totally reliable.

It's fast, handles well and is economical. I think it's the best value sports car you can buy. If I'm feeling fed up, I go for a drive and it always puts a smile on my face. One downside is the hard ride - hit a pothole and you will know about it ! If you don't already own one, treat yourself, you'll be glad you did.

Great build quality, looks great even now. Goes like stink. i had a 3 series before and i felt like a change and i wasnt dissapointed. Tts only a two seater if you dont have kids under the age of 6. Suprised also i wasnt at the pumps every two days. Only downside is my workmates all think i am having a midlife crisis, funny at first not after a 100 times do bewarned if you are over the age of 40.

Tt 225 Quattro Coupe. If You're In The Market Fo

TT 225 Quattro Coupe. If you're in the market for a smart coupe you'll probably have looked at the same range of cars i have. you'll have wittled it down to probably an Alfa GT, pretty but front wheel drive and a tad unreliable, a BMW 3 series coupe (every other car is a 3 series, and i've had one; they're over-rated), a Merc or the Audi TT. I recomend the TT completely. It ticks all the boxes. Despite what barstool 'experts' will tell you the TT, in Quattro form, is a stunning drive. I've had several performance cars but the TT handles better than any of them. It is so planted, so predictable, so surefooted that you can drive it much harder, much more of the time. If you're thinking of taking it on; don't bother unless you've a 911 or similar. a fraction over six seconds to 60 and 150+ mph coupled to four wheel drive gives all the performance you'd want. The driving seat is a great place to be. Heated leather seats, Boss stereo and great air con means you feel a bit special whilst the driving position is near perfect. It's going to take a hell of a car to get me out of the TT.

I can only think of a 997 Porsche as being able sway me, that's how good it is.

I've Loved This Car From The Moment I Saw One In T

I've loved this car from the moment I saw one in the flesh when I was 19, back in 1999, Since then I've wanted one. I had my 225 for nearly two years now. To say I'm obsessed would be an under statement. Last year I was driving everyday and to be honest, the servicing costs did add up. Now I only drive it at weekends but its what I look forward to. What you've got to ask yourself about your current car is:

a) : Does it have better performance than most?

b) : Does it look better than most?

c) : Does it keep you interested?

The TT definitely does all these things.

If you want a future classic in my opinion, which will keep you smiling.... most..... of the time, get a 225.

If you want something average and predictable get something else. Simple as that.

I Purchased My Tt 2002 With 2500 Miles On The Cloc

I purchased my TT 2002 with 2500 miles on the clock. After the normal recalls I settled down to what I thought would be a decent driving period. I do a lot of miles - in xs of 30K most years but have hit every service and keep on top of things myself. Kept to Pilot Sports as tried P zeros but slipped off the road with them... Now I'm on my 4th set of shocks and anti-roll bars. Getting a bit cheesed off with it to be honest - have to buy another set of front tyres again now that the suspension has been rubbing, is this a normal problem or do I have the Friday afternoon car?

I Have Had Way Too Much Fun With My Tt Roadster.

I have had way too much fun with my TT Roadster. It handles great and has enough pick in higher gears when I need it. The size is great for around town and for maneuvering in traffic!

The Car Has Tons Of Electrical Issues. The Passen

The car has tons of electrical issues. The passenger window will not go up. The dash cluster goes out every time I turn off the car. This makes the odometer go out and the engine light comes on. This makes it difficult every time I try to smog it in CA. The Audi dealer has no idea why the dash lights and instrument panel goes out. He says he needs it for at least two days. I don't have two days to give him or the money to pay for something he has NO IDEA what to look for.

So... I can't sell it because most of the dash won't work.

you're suffering from the Dashpod fault which is apparent in all TT's up to 2004 from which point the made the pod to a higher standard and faults are not as common.

the fault used to be repaired by audi as it is a known manufacturing defect, these days however they do not allow for this and will happily charge the customer (i.e. you) around £800.00 pretty much double for the american market.

your Audi dealer should know of this fault, i'm amazed he doesn't, he should not be in his occupational position without the correct knowledge.
