Volkswagen Touran 2.0 TDI SE

Bought the Touran 2.0 Diesel back in 2005 from New. I've had little experience of the dealership really as, apart from regular servicing, only one thing has EVER gone wrong.

The car is a delight to drive, really smooth, really quiet. It packs in 7 adults (great for pub trips) and is virtually bullet proof.

I actually like the styling especially from the outside. The interior has a clean no fuss "Germanic" look that I like without any bling or fake gizmos to try and hoodwink you into buying it its just honest and simple.

Nearly 6 years on, with tons of use and plenty of really enjoyable holidays, the journeys of which were assisted by the in car DVD and blacked out rear windows (which the kids love) and the ability to strap a top box onto the fitted rails means that this car is truly part of the family. Its all paid off and is "properly" ours and we shan't be getting shot anytime soon.

Oh and the fault, a weird smoking from the underside of the car (in the centre) that only occurs in really, really cold temperatures, VW sorted it in around 30 minutes

we reccommended the car to two friends who each bought one and have similar tales (a third brought an avensis)

Fantastic drive and handling. Really comfortable, i am driving around 30000 a year. Solid build with a really easy transformation from 5 to 7 seats etc

Power just keeps coming especially on the motorway. This is a great all rounder with a real practical edge. Volkswagen could do more with this car and i look forward to seeing the next addition.
