'will This Nightmare Ever End'.
I bought this '07 2L tdi alhambra two years ago, simply because online reports said how wonderful the car was. WRONG!. Firstly, broken wiring to starter motor, in rush hour. Front brake callipers seized, causing violent steering. New front grill that fell off on motorway. Renew egr. Heaters packed up. New fuel sensing valve. New catalitic converter. Air condition packed up. New battery. New oil filter/fuel filter/pollen & air filters. Front headlight reflector gone black. Seat folding levers broke off. It takes 75 -100 swings to get started when cold. Lots of grey diesel smoke at tickover. Diesel finding its way into sump. Another new battery. Very low fuel consumption. New tyres. 2 different waste of time computer checks. Windows wind down on their own. Another new front grill thats fallen off on the motorway. Am I boring you?. Before they come to take me away HaHa, I must warn you about how 'reliable' these VW based nightmares really are!. I'm sorry, but my next car will be japanese, if I am still sound of mind that is.
