Plymouth Voyager SE

I was thinking of buying a voyager, and now i won't be. thanks for the heads up.

I have recently purchased a 2002 Chrysler Voyager, I have had this vehichle only 4 months. Recently I had the van in a driveway, the van was in park and running, I got out but there was another person in the passenger side standing outside. The van began to move forward at which time the other person ran around the van and jumped in on the drivers side and tried to engage the brake. The van didn't stop - it rolled into another vehichle in front of it. The whole time this took place the indicator was in park. I took it to the dealership immediatly. They ran their test and told me this was not mechanically possible and that the computer said it was fine. Well, computers make mistakes and mechanical things malfunction. Now I am stuck with a van with a crumpled quarter panel and a van I am afraid to trust. I do not expect this problem will be dealt with, I believe I am going to get stuck with the bills and that Chrysler will not stand behind its product. As i have read many times, the transmission will probably need to be totally replaced just after the warranty expires, that is if it doesn't roll away again. I am just thankful no one was in front of it when it rolled.

We are replacing the transmission on our Voyager at 65,000 miles. We've only owned it 1 year!

I agree totally. I am about to replace a transmission at 60,000 miles.

I have had similar problems. Now I am at 80000 miles and I need an entire new engine!
