love my 806 had a problem when it kept cutting out took to peugeot who said it was the fuel pump or injectors problem both costly jobs was nothing of sort it was the relay costing £9 plus fitting this has happened twice now and please be aware i use my 806 as a taxis so high mileage has never let me down
Would be helpful to know which relay and exactly where it is located in the relay cluster. Strange because relays are usually very reliable.

I Purchased This Peugeot 806 Quicksilver Hdi Just
I purchased this Peugeot 806 Quicksilver HDi just under 3 years ago and I have never had any problems with it, just normal serviceable items and wear and tear ie tyres, wiper blades. However, in the last few months everything is going wrong, though mine has the two stage fan system ie there are two fans under neath the bonnet, the main fan as soon as you turn the ignition was coming on so I took it to Peugeot to find the fuse box under the bonnet. Has water ingress and needs replacing this is 600 from Peugeot as it is part of the loom. I am getting this done next week, 18th Sept 06. I have just had new brake discs and pads for the front and rear wheel cylinders and now the starter motor is playing up, plus I have a leak from the radiator. What's next, is it head gasket?
All round the Peugeot 806 Quicksilver HDi is brilliant! I am just hoping these repairs will give me miles more motoring. I was thinking of changing for 807.

For How Much We Bought The Car For And How Many Mi
for how much we bought the car for and how many miles the car has done after the second incident we had another engine put in the vehicle and this engine has been around the clock at least two times and chassis has been around the clock three if driven sensibly you get outstanding economy and performance i would definately recommend the diesel engine though>
You know that the Engine mount MAY have been under general recall dont you?

This Is An Update From My Original Review. My Peug
This is an update from my original review. My Peugeot 806 has now covered 43,000 miles from new in 11 months. It has been serviced three times by main dealers which have cost me a total of £480 which works out at about £12 a thousand miles which is excellent. It has had the front brake pads changed once and the front tyres once. My fuel consumption works out at about 42 mpg and I usually cover 620 miles between fill ups. I use this vehicle for work and I achieve these figures even "seven up" plus luggage. It handles the loads great with no adverse effect on the ride or handling. I have been very pleased with it and its reliability is far superior to the "7 Series" BMW's we also use at work ( I am a chauffer ). The only failure of any type was the clock bulb which failed when I put the car in for a service and was fixed before I picked the car up ! A special mention should be made of the main dealers. They have always serviced the car perfectly, quickly and at low cost. They even wash it for me without any prompt.

In Quicksilver Spec, The 806 Is About £3-&po
In Quicksilver spec, the 806 is about £3-£5,000 cheaper than a similar spec Galaxy. It has longer service intervals, similar economy and performance and, of course, a Peugeot diesel engine. Delivery time is about 10 days compared to 6 months for a Galaxy. I had never considered buying one but now I have I do not regret it. I'm only pleased that I didn't order a Galaxy which was my first choice MPV.
