What A Fantastically Designed Mpv. I Bought T
What a fantastically designed MPV.
I bought this because of the removeable seating and flat floor.
We have three teenage children so "elbow room" was an essential consideration when choosing. The good points - fair economy, legroom, flat floor, comfort, driveability, cruising speed, head height for traffic, massive carrying capacity (750kg), massive towing capacity (2 tonnes), twin heating system, twin air conditioning system, level of trim for the price, speaker system.
The bad points - poor turning circle, turbo "lag" when pulling away at junctions, high parts prices, inability to repair at home due to complicated engine / electronics.
Overall I can't recommend this MPV enough. The kids love it (they didn't at first because of the name!) now they do. I will be a very unhappy bloke when the vehicle has to go to the scrapyard in the sky!

Was Delighted With The Kia Sedona (value For Money
Was delighted with the Kia Sedona (value for money) for first two years (very reliable) but after that I have been very disappointed with the reliability of the car and the after sales service. After recommending the car for the first two years that I had it, I would no longer recommend it to anyone.

Thought The Kia Sedona Was Great! Required Top End
Thought the Kia Sedona was great! Required top end rebuild costing half the value of the car due to faulty fuel lines to the injectors! Kia say that is acceptable for this to happen as it has not been reported before, and as it is out of warranty! When challenged about the cause of the failure of the parts (that cost pounds) that caused the damage (which cost thousands), the reply was; well it is out of warranty! Your new range comes with 7 years/100,000 miles warranty! Yes. Same engine? Yes. So, the parts that failed should need not be replaced on any service stipulated in the Kia handbook/service book! No! Surely a good will gesture will be offered, then! No it is out of warranty. So if you have a Sedona and it still runs for gods sake SELL IT!

Gears Manual Are Terrible And Keep Jamming And Kia
Gears manual are terrible and keep jamming and Kia Ireland say it is fine, jams one day and not the next but no support from Kia Ireland , be careful of this.....
I bought my Kia Sedona in '04 and I have had similar problems since new. My car has been in the garage 12 times with gear change problems and on several occasions faults have been found and fixed, I have had to stop on motorways on more than one occasion as it would not go into gear. It still has a problem which makes it hard to drive.
