Purchased In 2005. The Power And Performance Are H

Purchased in 2005. The power and performance are highly satisfying for what is a shopping bag on wheels.Very easy to drive and is a splendid motorway cruiser, would like a cruise control though then I could really relax. Solid and well made with NO rattles even after 80K. Plenty of room for a big man like myself and feels like a 1970's Rover 3.5L on the road but without the fuel consumption! 42 mpg is the norm for a long open road journey. I have only replaced a cam belt pulley bearing, rear silencer box and two light bulbs and a battery in the 5yrs of ownership. No little niggles have sprung their ugly head and the car has been the epitome of reliability during ownership.I have owned many different makes and styles of car over 40years, from a Morris Minor, Ford Consul and Zodiac, Peugeot 404. Opel Record (junk!),Valiant Safari, Datsun 280SGL (a petroholic!)and more. The Picasso and the Peugeot win hands down. I love my Picasso!!!

I Have Had Citroen Cars Now For Many Years, And Bo

I have had Citroen cars now for many years, and bought a Picasso a few years back. It was so good I bought a second one, and it is just a s reliable as the first.

The space in the back is fantastic for the kids on long journeys, with plenty of nooks and crannies for their kit, which doesn't add to performance, but makes the journey all the easier!

Petrol consumption is above average. Good speed levels. Comfortable and affordable.

My Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8sx Is Only Just Out Of

My Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8SX is only just out of warranty and with 24,000 miles on the clock, my car needs a £1,070 repair to replace the ECU which got wet, apparently. Maybe Picasso drivers aren't supposed to go out in the rain, although I can't remember reading that in the manual. Citroen is being very unhelpful.

You have been warned warned!

The Citroen Xsara Picasso Is A Quiet Reliable Vehi

The Citroen Xsara Picasso is a quiet reliable vehicle with affordable price. Excellent stability on slippery roads. Removable back seats allow for dirty and/or big object transportation. Very good air conditioning system which also aids to keep the window clear during the cold season. Good economy (when the computer decides to work alright).

I Have Had My Vitroen Xsara Picasso 1.8 Sx For A W

I have had my Vitroen Xsara Picasso 1.8 SX for a week now, and I think it's brill. I traveled from Stoke to Blackpool on £17, and the car really shifts. Everything works and it's a pleasure to drive. It's 5 years old, done 40,000, and drives like a new car.

I bought it from a main dealer with everything thrown in that you could ask for - from a 12 month Warranty to road tax.

I Bought My Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8sx People Car

I bought my Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8SX People Carrier second hand with 3 months warranty left on it. It's a jan 2002 model with 44,500 miles on the clock. I have had the car 8 months now with not one single problem.

Its a great looking car and great to drive. I highly recommend this car if you have a family and like driving.

What a shame that I sold this car some 2 years ago because I fancied a change. Was very reliable and I should have hung on. You always think the grass is greener, but usually it isn't.

2 years of ownership and had renewals to brake pads and discs, which had done 60 thousand miles since new, WOW. Also, at the same time I had 2 new tyres fitted and the rear of the exhaust replaced. The rear brake cylinder was leaking and needed replacing too.

This is not at all serious mind, considering it's normal wear and tear on any vehicle. No major problems mechanically to report.

The car is by far the best piece of kit I have ever had without a shadow of doubt.

Enough said really.

Well its been 18 wonderful months with the most reliable car i have ever owned. I am not bored with it. In fact i still have the same excitement for the picasso as when i first owned it. This is new experience believe me. Just driven 1100 miles in 1 week and the car was superb.

Its been 11 months now since owning my beloved picasso. Guess what? Still not one single problem with it.

Isn't life great.

My Citroen Xsara Picasson 1.8 Sx Was Purchased New

My Citroen Xsara Picasson 1.8 SX was purchased new and initially was fine. However it soon developed problems with flat spots, stalling and lousy economy. Dealer has been really helpful but neither they or Citroen UK have been able to resolve permanently. Lots of bits changed under warranty to no avail. One service engineer told me quietly that these faults are common on my age Picasso but vary in severity from car to car. Anyway warranty now expired, so car is going. Won't buy another !!

Have you changed the spark plugs? My parents own one (their 2nd as they love it) and when the plugs were changed they had all these issues. Turns out the plugs need replacing like for like as they are fussy and some brands cause issues! They replaced with the original brand and all is back to perfect - with now 130k on the clock.

The Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8sx People Carrier Is

The Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8SX people carrier is definatly a family car but is not very economical on petrol. If you do long jurneys, then you will use much more fuel. If you only do town milage then you will use the petrol quicker.

The Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8sx People Carrier Is

The Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8SX People Carrier is a very good all round vehicle. The seats are very good, (no more bad backs when travelling a distance) Good for heavy load carrying taking back seats out makes a large area for moving large objects. Quite nippy, tried the 1.6 but was not powerful enough. Would purchase another, recommended it to several people already got a buyer for ours when we want to part with it!
