I Picked The Car Up 07 In Blue Exclusive 2.0d 5 Se

I picked the car up 07 in Blue exclusive 2.0d 5 seat, from Pentons in Bournmouth. Previous car history 02 BMW 330D sport 4dr, 06 BMW 535D sport tourer, 07 Honda civic ex. I love this car i have never named a car before, but now her name is Big blue/ super blue. Why?

Having had her for 2 weeks i drove to Zakopane in Poland about 3000 miles round trip on a 14 day holiday. The drive/ride was like the Eurostar. I drove from 0300 till 1900 but i did not notice. As a family car we search high and low for the panoramic sunroof. Averaged 36mpg about 2800 of 3000 miles speed averaged 90-100 mph. Even a bumpy road for 10/20 miles nothing fell off and just had smiles on our faces. Will buy again, omg a citreon.

Firstly, Don't Buy At The List Price, But Get The

firstly, don't buy at the list price, but get the best discounts possible by checking around. We got a top of the range 2.0 litre Petrol Exclusive as a canclled order and have thoroughly enjoyed it, one of the best cars that either of us have had. It's got so many gadgets that I'm sure we'll still be finding them until we part with the car.

There have been some C4 Picasso's with problems, either the dealers can sort them or they become a nightmare, but we have had no trouble, nor have most of the owners on the C4Owners forum.

Currently the revamped C4 Picasso range appears to have had most of the in built Exclusive extras now only available as additional cost extras, so we'd be hard pushed to find another car below £20k with this level of kit.

Petrol consumption is the only real gripe we have, but neither of us like pootling about stuck in traffic, but long distance drives are a dream, arriving cosseted in luxury armchairs. It is a perfect car for us, large enough to cater for airport runs with a boot full of luggage and 5 up, crammed with garden centre purchases, 2 full golf bags and everything else we ask it to do. The seats can be a bit awkward to fold flat, rarely do we need to do so.

The auto gearbox can be jerky, but using the paddles puts you in charge of gearchanges, but auto is a godsend in London traffic or the unavoidable motorway jams.

In short, I don't think we can find a replacement car that we;d be as happy with. One other strong point is that we had some riffraff try and break in, but despite attacking all 3 side windows, none gave in, he also cut himself, leaving evidence to get arrested!! Score one for Citroen!!

The Ciroen C4 Grand Piccaso 2.0 16v Exclusive Egs

The Ciroen C4 Grand Piccaso 2.0 16v Exclusive EGS car looks fantastic (Black)the seats all 7 are compfortable.

The seat floor system is excelent all folding flat in a mix as you wish, space is large as well. Self leveling system is obviously magic, but the idea of been able to lower the rear only means that the rear up and over 5th door lowers as well (bump your head).

The gear box is as all owners I have spoken with have said,

A danger to all. The gear box can not make its desistion what gear it should or wants to be in, you may be at a junction that you the driver has decided it is safe to go you put your foot down to excelerate and the gear box has still not decided and you are not going anyware or you are free wheeling and will not excelerate. Then all of a sudden your wheels are screeming and you are speeding away right infront of the vehicle at first it was safe to pull out.

This has been done by lots of other owners, and we have all had the ars back to Citroen they reset the gear box computer planning system and then tell us that the gear box learns how the driver drives and sets the gear box to suit. Hmmm more than 1 driver.

We have had a full set of tyres front and back within 21,000 miles we do not have a family so it does not cary 7 people, nor carry heavy weight all day every day.

We chose the top of the range Exclusive but did not expect the radeo to be the lowest range model available, what the mags tell you and show is not what you get unless you pay extra. It is very annoying paying for the top of the range car then having to pay top of the range radio (i kept the base model) The car did come with top of the range wheels and tyres which I did not pay for, untill I had to buy tyres (£150 each cheapest I found)

Miles per gallon is poor arround the doors 20-22 long distance 32-34

I do feel that if this model had a full automatic gearbox it would be a different car and I would have kept it or renewed it but sorry it is going April 2011.
