As A People Carrier, The Chrysler Grand Voyager Do
As a people carrier, the Chrysler Grand Voyager does exactly what it says on the tin.
6 passengers can be carried in comfort, watching DVD's and generally relaxing.
However, it is somewhat lacking from the drivers perspective. It is incredibly unsatisfying to drive and suffers badly from body roll due to its size.
The drivers seat is electrically adjustable but not especially comfortable.
It's also not a great touring car as there is no foot rest for your left foot so driving long distances can be tiresome. The engine noise is quite loud too and also starts to grate on long journeys.
Also worth a mention is the voyagers dismal Euro NCAP score - check the Euro Ncap website.
Also worth a mention is the fact that the battery has died 3 times whilst I've left the kids in the car watching a DVD, each time no more than 30 mins.
I bought mine to transport 3 small children as well as my wife and other family members which the voyager does with ease. This isn't my principal requirement anymore and I find that for any other purpose, the Voyager just doesn't cut it - especially not for £32k.
