I'll Keep This
Traded in my Polo and some of my retirement pay. First look and drive sold me. Averaging 55mpg around town, drives like a charm and no road tax. It's so disappointing going to the post office and getting you freshly minted tax disk for free!!
I thought it would lack a bit of pull as a 1.6 but was pleasantly surprised. Quite highly geared so my only criticism is that the speed limit of 30mph seems to be the middle of two gears and you tend to want to shift up a gear. Had it now for 1 x year and still love it.Ill keep this!!

Bought It New From A Volvo Main Dealer And Added L
Bought it new from a Volvo main dealer and added leather, sunroof and bluetooth. The engine is smooth as is the gearbox and ride, it regularly hits 55 - 60 mpg on a run and has not missed a beat in 45k miles. The only replacement parts have been the front tyres at 22k miles. Servicing is pricey but the dealer is first class.
To sum up it's a comfortable, economical to run and quality car with a bit of style. If you need a large boot and 4 adult seats look elsewhere, but for me it has been a perfect car and we would thoroughly recommend the whole Volvo experience.
