To Be Honest When I Was Getting My First Rover 211
To be honest when I was getting my first rover 211 i thought it would be boring and slow and bit of and old grannys car. How wrong! It was sexy, fast and was nufin like the old rovers.
The new Rover 200's have been made into the car that you can afford when you cant afford the MG ZR.
Interior is a bit on the boring side with fake wood on the dash, but the steering wheel makes up for it.
Back bumper is so deep who would want anything more from a standard bodykit? Rover badges come of easy, just peel. and front bumper can be easily meshed for instant transformation.
Trust me the rover is a highly desirable car by the average racer and if you need help on mods just give me a line.

Well The Rover 200 Looks Nice As Standard But With
Well the Rover 200 looks nice as standard but with alloys and a few mods like rear light clusters and a new sporty back box,starts looking more the part.Well built but does corrode easy if stone chips left to long but the paint and body work design is good so does not seam to attract rust. Inside is good,maybe a little cramped in the back but dash is set out nice with fake wood bits looks more upmarket but adjustable heater vents are broken but i think thats because last owner liked those stinky things you attach to vents. Performance is good even if a only have the 1.1 model [as my insurance is high] but no one can tell, I have heard the 1.8 models are fast.
The wood insert isn't fake!
Bought my rover 200 1.4 summer 2003. this is a great little car and I cannot agree more with s mac... can get carried away as I did and recently aquired 3 points on the licence not good when you are 17
They are good cars as s macdonald said, as that is my girlfriend and i like the 1.1 it has very good handing very good for pushin it hard as i did a lot. Get the 1.4 once the insurance go's down. They are good cars don't listen to any who tells you otherwise :-)
totally agree with you there. i had a 211 and everyone thought it was a 1.6. 1.8 are fast the 1.6 is tough compiition to. Just go a 1.4. they fell safe to drive and look so sexy. only thing dont like is exhaust corrodes quickly and seat hight in NOT adjustable which is a pain cause it sits to high. Part from that MOVE OVER I'M A ROVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
