I Have A 1.0 Litre K11 Micra And It Has Been Fanta
I have a 1.0 litre K11 micra and it has been fantastically reliable in the 5 years I have owned it given I have covered over 60,000 miles in that time with no major problems. For the external dimensions of the car, it is very roomy inside (it has a high roofline) and I have fitted furniture and even a full-size tumble drier in the back with the seats down. The ride is comfortable and the handling safe (recommend fitting the original specification Bridgestone B371 tyres as these give very high levels of grip). Visibility front and rear are excellent - a positive safety feature which a lot of newer cars fail on. Performance is very good for a 1 litre car and the engine, a twin can 16 valve unit, is very willing and almost sporty. The car has a pretty basic specification though this means there aren't many electronic gadget so go wrong. The paint finish still looks good after 9 years.

Suprisingly comfortable & roomy in the front. The Nissan Micra 1.0 seems to have a very responsive engine, and is economical too. An excellent little car, which in my experience is nippier than my 1.9 litre diesel Rover, yet very thrifty. Highly recommended.

Overall the Nissan Micra is a nice little car. I have a 1.0, and its smooth! 5th gear is a little stiff. Mine is 10 years old now and it runs nicely. No problems. Just not good with high speed, perfect for new drivers. Wouldn't recommend for motorway journeys. However, great little run around.

All in all a fantastic car to have as my first- was cheap to buy, run and insure.
I fit my 7 ft surfboard and all my gear and my work stuff in mine no problem and still have room for a passenger, so no complaints there.
Happy to potter around town nearly silently and motorway cruise speeds also very comfortable.

Wouldn't buy another Micra. No intermittent wipe, no folding rear seats, poor handling, uncomfortable seats
