Im Really Pleased With This Car As Its Pritty Stro

im really pleased with this car as its pritty strong reilable and handals brilliantly. great to drive and i love the looks of it. i sometimes give it alot of stick as i drive pritty hard round lanes and it holds out fine. have had 135mph so pritty quick too. only problem was with central locking stoped working. apart from that i dont want 2 get rid of it!

I Bought My Focus From A Car Auction Around Nine M

I bought my focus from a car auction around nine months ago for just over one thousand pounds. It needed a little work when I got it, I had to replace the front bushes and rear wheels needed balancing and a full service. After that the car was great until I got the cam belt replaced, I had to get the cam belt, another full service and the head gasket replaced at 115,000 miles. After that it ran great for a while until I drove over a deep bump/pothole in the road when going round a corner that caused the passenger side spring to snap at the bottom. I got that fixed and a week or two later the drivers side spring snapped, I had noticed a few weeks before this that when I started the car it sounded weak and presumed it was the battery, when the drivers side spring went the car was not driveable as the spring had collapsed I did not start the car for a few hours then tried it later on and it would not start so I also neede a battery! It seems that everything is breaking on the car. The gearbox has been very noisy since I bought the car and is getting noisier and also the clutch is slipping, so they are more things that are on the way out! Also the it has a slight oil leak and water leak on the cooling system. So as a whole I would say the car is not 100% reliable but is reliable to some extent, as since I have bought the car I have spent around £1800 on it and things are still breaking. The car is great as it is very responsive and is faster than most cars like 2.0 tdi golfs etc. But it has cost me a small fortune on repairs. I love the car as it is like a wolf in sheeps clothing but don't like the reliability of it, but as I got it from an auction I was told it came from a dealer as a part exchange so it has probably been ragged!

Honestly, That Is One Big And Good Surprise For Me

Honestly, that is one big and good surprise for me from Ford !

I really never expect it to be so good build and reliable, usually words that I'll never associate with Ford so far. But believe me, that one is on totally different league, I'm baffled ! I bought it second hand when it was 8 years already, and 75 000 miles on the clock. So far I can't report anything that was gone wrong with it, just changing filters, oil, fluids, belts when was needed, and that was all I've done with it, and it still puts smile on my face when I drive it.

The engine is veeeeery smooth and quiet, pulls very well on hills where I live, and you can easily reach speeds that is far beyond the limits.

The suspension manages to be firm in corners, and to be comfortable on rough roads at the same time, that independent rear suspension is working really well.

The steering is sharp, but you may find it a bit too stiff if your previous car has a lighter steering, like I do, but it took me not more than a week to get used to it.

If you looking for a space, it is hard to find a better solution than that, in the car on the same class and size as the Focus, thanks again to the clever rear suspension.

In conclusion, if you are wondering to buy it or not, BUY IT, even if it have some things to be fixed, it will be worthy expense to repair it. Of coarse, if you see that the previous owner has wrecked the car, don't, pay a bit more to buy a better maintained car, and than repair it. It's an amazing value for the money spent

We Have Had Our 2.0 Focus For 7 Years, It Has Done

We have had our 2.0 focus for 7 years, it has done 75k roughly on the clock main purpose of use really for work and the once a year 1000 mile return trip to scotland. The car has been in approximately 4 accidents last one a manufacturing fault hit a rather large pot hole in the road and the front two airbags went off (splittling the dash board in half and the passenger airbag compartment smashing the heated windscreen £350 to replace)Only major repair work on the car was the cambelt snapped and needed replacing costing roughly £800. The Focus has taken a few wacks now and then it was nearly run off the road by a lorry a few years back. All in all it is a very stirdy well built car and we are driving upto scotland again this year :)

I Bought My Focus Way Back In 2002 For £10,

I bought my focus way back in 2002 for £10,000, it was 1 year old and had 11000 on the clock, fast forward seven yes SEVEN years and it is still as good as ever now having done just over 85000 miles and it has NEVER let me down. I had previously never kept a car for more than 3 years but cannot part with this one, it has been too good a car. If you are going to buy one look after it and it WILL look after you!

My Ford Focus Zetec Esp Is Full Of Goodies, Like F

My Ford Focus Zetec esp is full of goodies, like full heated leather, ac, electric sunroof & so on. Its a facelift version of 2002 model in panther black with st170 speedo oil temp conversion, st alloys, hid lamp conversion etc. This car handles well on corners all depending on good set of tyres.

I've had the car about 2 and a half years its been fantastic. I was at a set of traffic lights side to side with 53 plate Vectra sri150 and left him standing so its fairly quick.

Fantastic Car I Have Had It For About 5 Years And

Fantastic car I have had it for about 5 years and love it.

I was looking for another car but cant find anything that's even half as good in a newer model.

Now even towing a caravan and still going great.

Love My Car. Been Looking To Change For Over A Yea

Love my car. Been looking to change for over a year now due to age. But can never find anything as good value and practical. Drives great and so easy to use. Friend has Almera Gti and so hard to drive in comparison. Economical and cheap car insurance, is definitely a bonus. Plus when those youngsters rev at you at traffic lights I can burn them off no probs. Tyres expensive but my front Pirelli P6000 have done over 15k and still going strong.
