150,000 Miles And Still Going Strong!
I love this car! For a start, it is sexy as... 10 years old and it still turns heads.
Second, the power band in the 1.6i petrol is unbelievably usable. I can accelerate up a pretty steep hill in 4th from 20mph and overtaking is a doddle.
Third, great handling. I live in the Scottish Highlands and my journeys are quicker in the 4 years since I bought this than they were in the Civic Type-S Coupe I had before. It inspires a lot of confidence. Brakes and turn-in are really sharp and it grips for days.
Fourth, the space is so comfortable to be in: loads of room (I'm 6'3 and don't put the seat all the way back), 4 great comfy seats, good aircon, good CD player, smooth ride and the confidence of knowing that it has a 5-star safety rating and a 5-star anti-theft rating.
Cons - Crappy earth cable corroded after a cold winter. Pretty awkward to replace.
- cubby holes aren't very well designed
- The inclusion of a speed limiter button is a bit patronising
