The Alfa 147 Is A Feisty Machine Compared To Other
The Alfa 147 is a feisty machine compared to other diesels I've driven around. The drive is amazing and would defintely have kept it if it wasn't for the expensive costs.
Apart from the engine performance and good looks, I probably would have said goodbye to the car a lot sooner.
I had upper and lower wishbones replaced, then power steering started leaking. It then started to shake at acceleration above 30mph. I have had it looked at by severl mechanics. 3/3 said driveshaft needs to go, 1/3 said crankshaft pulley needs replacing also. What next?
It is a great car when it works, I just couldn't afford it.
Boot space wasn't the best. Going to Europe with two people's luggage and a tent was a struggle. Most spilled onto the backseats.
