The Volvo V50 1.8 S Sportswagon is an excellent car all round. Slightly dull in the performance department, but then you don't buy a Volvo estate to race round about! Very very comfortable indeed, great spec on all levels. Metallic blue is definitely the best colour. Would go for a 2.0D next time. Love it to bits.
Good to know about the spec on the base model.
Will probably go for the diesel - although not impressed at the thought of a six speed manual box...
