My Experience Has Been That My Alfa Romeo 159 Spor
My experience has been that my Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon has been utterly unreliable. The things that have already gone wrong include:
1. Cruise control
2. iPod control system
3. The main computer - had to wait 5 weeks while a new one was sourced and fitted and was in a loan vehicle in the meantime
4. Condensation in rear light cluster
5. Alarm had to be fixed as it would not set
6. Dealer returned car to me with a big paint chip out of the bonnet and 260 new miles on the clock as we had agreed 'extensive' test driving to ensure the faults were fixed.
7. Dealer failed to communicate timescales for fixes and had to chase. Service staff were unhelpful at times and, I feel, in no way understood why I was annoyed. All bad news was delivered with a very matter-of-fact way.
8. Alfa Romeo UK provided no effective support during these long long issues
9. I hit a brick wall when requesting a replacement car or my money back.
Its a great car. But my ownership experience has been terrible. I could not recommend a friend buy one.
