Buy These Cars In The Knowledge You Will Have To M

Buy these cars in the knowledge you will have to maintain them, however they are simple to work on and the DIY maintanance is half the fun of owning one. Great to drive, practical and cheap, no tax, low insurance and abundant cheap spares. An ideal everyday classic car. This is my fourth MGB, Ive had other more expensive classic cars but keep returning to the MGB.

If You Want A Cheap (ish) Car £2,500 Will B

If you want a cheap (ish) car £2,500 will buy you a good tax except

MG B GT.(I wouldn't pay much more unless it was exceptional). £4,000 will get you a pretty good chrome bumper Roadster £6,000 will get you a fairly good converted v8 roadster.

The Mg B Gt Is Generally A Very Good Fun Sports Ca

The MG B GT is generally a very good fun sports car that won't break the bank. Like all old sports cars watch the rust - finding a good example is not easy - possibly better to find a Roadster if the budget will stretch that far, or even an MGA, which despite being older is a far better car to drive!!

For Great Fun Motoring Get One Of These Babies. F

For great fun motoring get one of these babies. Fantastically priced (£1500 - £5000) depending on state they are great to drive sound great and look very retro. Boy racer? Get the V8 version.

These cars are simple and usually easy to maintain.

Victoria British Limited can be cheaper than moss.

Tatra Man

Easy to get spares and moderately priced, yes, but common and not as much fun as the equally common soft-top. There are better choices out there too.

Best spares places are Moss and MG Owners Club (MGOC), by the way
