Still Cannot Find A Better Car
I bought this in jan 2001, just a few weeks after it was introduced. carried stacks in the. Back, full set of disco equipment, including lights and decks, full bathroom suites, but had to tie the lid down, full kitchen freezer, 3 pice suite, lawn mowers etc. It is like a tardis. Boot floor is level with the bumper, so easy to load. Also. very nippy, comfortable on long journeys and reasonable fuel efficiency. reliability is first class, except when I've left the lights on or something. battery is quite small.
Starting to show it's age, gear box wearing out, but I can't find a better car. it is very tempting to pay for the new gearbox rather than buy a new car.
Perfect car for any learner or if you are on a tight budget.

Being 17, This Is My First Car, But By Driving My
Being 17, this is my first car, but by driving my friends cars (puntos, astras corsas etc) its amazing how different the speed is. The ignis is a really nippy car, me and my brother tested the 0-60 time and it got just under 10 seconds so ignore the 14 second stuff they give you in the brochure;)
It's not incredibly fast in the corners due to its centre of gravity but inside you have ample space for your mates and a large boot space where I have got 2 subs and some 6x9's wired in. Extremely good fuel economy below 4-4.5 '000 revs, usually in excess of 60mpg, but fast motorway driving may lessen efficiency as well as it being slightly noisy.
The light weight aids in the speed aspect of the car, however, bumps and potholes do make the car feel a bit vulnerable.
In all, it is a fantastic car, much better than the normal first car and well worth the £1100 i bought it for.
1.3 Gl 3-doori Bought It Because Was Relative
1.3 GL 3-DoorI bought it because was relatively cheap and had low mileage -26k. It ranks as one of my favourite cars. It pulled well even with 4 people in it and started every time. Drove through Germany and it held its own, I loved the nippy acceleration. Once you get over the very light clutch, light steering - its never going to rival a VW, but it has a charm all of its own- it is a very competent little car. The fact that there are so many high mileage examples on the market is testament to its workhorse capabilities. It was a very sad day when I came to sell it and wish I hadn't. Winter tyres with extra deep tread gave it massively improved handling.

Bought This Suzuki Ignis 1.3 Gl Car Mainly For Cit
Bought this Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL car mainly for city use, but you could take it anywhere. It gives you a feeling that it will have a go at whatever you throw at it.
Great little car for the urban life. Designed to be simple and durable, an old school Japanese concept.
Ignis is strangely a car with character, we call ours "the puppy" because thats how it feels.

Cheap, cheerful and reliable. It also has good acceleration yet is light on fuel and tyres. Servicing is cheap and parts are not that expensive and readily available. All round visibility is good, seats are firm but comfortable. The power steering makes turning effortless. Lots of accessibility in the engine bay. The clutch and brakes are light and effective.Hatch door easy to open. Rear seats split and fold for huge carrying area.High driving position may take a moment to get used to but is an advantage.Mine has 56,000 miles on it and the engine is as good as new. No rust either.
A car that behaves like a whippet puppy. Really eager to go and starts every time. Funny to drive and not tiring. It looks like a 4x4 but isn't. (unless you get the 4x4 version of course!).

I Looked Into This Review, Among Others, Before Bu
I looked into this review, among others, before buying a Suzuki Ignis,
I bought at 5,100 euro a 5 yr old Suzuki. BAD IDEA. I had a 16 year old ford fiesta before was not as good in appearnce, but was precise in the steering, less noisy in the highway; even though it was old it was solid. It gave one a sense of security when driving, especially in the highway, it didn ' t rattle... unlike This mini SUV
It's a challenge driving it. Older cars of other utility cars are faster and safer. I cannot understand how the writers of the previous articles came to the conclusion that it's a good car, there are all bad reviews about the ford fiesta all over the internet, but its owners like their car, and don't need to advertise them.
The Suzuki Ignis is an excellent little car. One thing you can't criticise is, its fantastic Japanese heritage for reliability. Yes, in some ways it's a little unusual, some may say it's neither one thing nor another, but I'm afraid its quirkiness is its charm. We have two of these in our household and we've had three so far. The Ford Fiesta 1.4 tdci cost me a small fortune over a very short period and with only 40k on the clock. Couldn't wait to get back to Japanese

Found This To Be A Great Little Car, The Space In
Found this to be a great little car, the space in the rear with the seats folded down is amazing had just about everything in there from fridges, cookers & double beds the lot. Ride is comfy, Can get up to a good speed on motorways, easy to park, steering is great. Can get noisy when driving at high speed could do with some more insulation fun little car to drive thought wouldn't hesitate to get another currently have the 1.3 GL 3dr would prob get a 5dr next time though. Only had a few minor problems with it, battery died a few times twice while driving (not much fun) losing the power steering lights etc at night not good. Easily fixed thought with a jump start, charging the battery or a new battery but can happen again. Have had mine since MAY 05, STILL GOT IT.

A Generally Good Budget Priced Hatchback With Acre
A generally good budget priced hatchback with acres of room with the rear seats down. The Suzuki Ignis engine is very reliable, the economy is also reasonable. Although I would have rather had a slightly larger fuel tank, the range is just over 300 miles. Depreciation may be an issue if you are intent to trade after three years. On the whole, I would buy another one.
I found this review helpful because...it came to the point and provided a succinct overview.

The Suzuki Ignis 1.3 Gl Very Practical Suppermini,
The Suzuki Ignis 1.3 GL Very practical suppermini, which can carry four adults in comfort without any complaints. Seating position is extremely good for both rear and front passengers. Impressive acceleration for a 1.3l engine. Very frugal engine with 44MPG for mixed driving conditions. I use it every day and complete about 300Mile a week..no problems.
