Skoda Fabia 1.4 16V Elegance

I owned one of these for just on a year,so I am able to name some of the numerous faults with this vehicle.

Engine management light come on at least twice a week for no apparent reason, lights dim when the power steering is used, accumulation of water collects in the scuttle panel owing to debris that collects there, the ride when travesting corners or roundabouts is akin to being in a bathtub on a high sea, doors panels fill with water filling the footwells with pools of water which leads to mouldy carpets. Skoda acknowledge there is a problem but have done nothing about it. Headlights are next to useless.

Electric door locking mechanism is also prone to failure owing to ingress of water in door panels. Very small boot capacity.

Numerous design faults with this model.

Don't waste your hard earned cash on this heap of rubbish.

Great car for it's price. Very nice performance fo 1.4 engine, pretty nice interior,and the best part you can tune it up to 140 HP without spending much money!

Tip top, I could not recommend this Skoda Fabia enough.The levels of trim are fantastic, admittedly I got a special offer but it has AC, electric front windows, cruise control, heated front seats, parking sensors, chilled glovebox and leather steering wheel & gearknob.
