If you plan to buy a cheap import then you might as well go brazilian. Yes, brazil isn't the best place to get a car from but that's where they make the US/Canada VW Golf. This means nothing you can reflect on, but it might reassure you as to whether or not you can gamble your money on something that came in on a boat. The Palio Fire isn't that bad of a bargain either once all is weighted in. The exterior looks, reworked, seem to blend in with today's most modern rockets, Golf included, and the interior isn't that bad either, provided you don't mind cheap plastic.
