I have a 1993 citroen ax edition Lightlife standard, have had this car for seven years, payed £400.00 pounds, yet again the car has past its mot, i only do basic servicing on the car which is a 954 cc, and run it, the only car that the daughter can get insurance for, bodywork has some scratches but its only to get about in, the only problem soon will be tyre size, i stick to the same size 145 70 13, these are getting a bit expensive if you go for good brand.

the citroen ax gets just enough power from 0-100km/h in 13sec. good fuel consumption.

good car, bit crude. Very cheap, runs on air, if any parts on it break there a million other ax's up the scrap yard.

I bought a little (by little I mean 954cc) Citroen AX about 6 months ago then my mate told me that he new sombody with 1.4 gt engine so I got that and put that in and I can tell you this is was the best thing I had ever done.

Superb little cars, will take you from England to Scotland on one tank of fuel and can get up to 90mph when required. A reliable, cost effective way to travel would recommend this car to learners and experienced drivers alike.

Great little car, fuel consumption is great and as it was my first, car insurance was a lot cheaper. Had for 13 months now, no breakdowns, nothing needed on MOT, for a first car or run about, its brilliant.

My Citroen AX is great. I like everything on that car and would never say anything bad about it. Mine was build in 1995 and I've had for about 12 months. It's just a great little car, no bad points for me.

The Citroen AX does good milage on fuel worth £30, costs me £120 a year on insurance. I wouldn't part with it, if it breaks down will just buy another one! I've got 18k miles in 18 months without a fuss. mmmmm..
