This Is My Second Chevrolet Matiz Se Which I Bough
This is my second Chevrolet Matiz SE which I bought cash and included free 3 years servicing so I am a very satisfied driver. It's a very reliable car which got me everywhere without any trouble. I've been to Portsmouth and Surrey with it twice and it's very economical to run. If you are not brand conscious, quite honestly this is the car for you. The only little problem with this car is that because it is so light it would wobble a bit when it is very windy, but it's not windy everyday and you can always put extra weight by carrying books or something. Before I make a purchase of a new car, I always want to find out how much the insurance would cost.

Utterly Disgraceful. This Chevy Matiz Se Car (and
Utterly disgraceful. This CHEVY MATIZ SE car (and let me say from the outset that the finance was horrendous on this - I have no idea how they got this past me!!) is the very worst I have ever owned, bar none. Fuel consumption is o.k., thats the ONLY good point. Please don't even begin to think about driving this thing on the highways - it gets thrown around like a rag doll by everything that passes it (and pass it they do 'cos it's zero to sixty in about three weeks!!) About six months from the initial purchase the alternator failed. Warranty repair & lots of hassle. Fair enough. Third service yesterday following clutch pedal sticking over the weekend. Lubricated and left for ME "to monitor" Dangerous surely when the car CLUNKS into gear when the pedal unsticks? Drivers side door mechanism FAULTY- sticks, takes several pulls to open it. And the grand finale - middle section of the exhaust excessively corroded and needing urgent "warranty repair". Guess what - they don't want to cover it on the warranty!! A car under three years old with these problems and Chevrolet turn their back. Excessive wear you might ask? This car travels 12 miles per day city, full stop. It has under 16K on the clock. CHEVROLET YOU ARE A DISGRACE AND YOUR CAR AND WARRANTY EQUALLY USELESS.

I Bought A Chevrolet Matiz Manual 1.0 Se Flare In
I bought a Chevrolet Matiz Manual 1.0 SE Flare in Mica pearl black with air conditioning and a sunroof for £6,750 in September 2007. Along with this the car has a 3 year, 60,000 mile warranty and 3 years free servicing.
Not a Rolls Royce. But the Chevy Matiz is a great car, nothing gets anywhere near it for value and running costs. To date 12/11/08 it has covered over 11,000 trouble free miles.
We often journey 4 up with a full load of luggage to our holiday home in Essex, a journey of around 110 miles. I find no problem with the 1 litre engine for acceleration or traveling the motorway at the legal speed limit of 70 MPH.

This Is A Great Car With Lots Of Things Going For
This is a great car with lots of things going for it I get on average 68 MGP in the winter and 74MPG in the summer now you cant say that's bad for a 4 seater city car which is great on the motorways too.

This Car Is Claimed To Be Lighter Than The Daewoo
This car is claimed to be lighter than the Daewoo version yet consumes 20% more fuel, in fact this car uses more petrol than my 1600cc Toyota, that has a carburettor!
