Happy Aixam Owner

All Aixams, microcars, Ligiers seem to suffer with the same problems, gearboxes, i believe they have been made slightly better in more recent models, belts, cv boots, exhausts etc. You can expect to replace a lot of these at least eevry other year. I take it as part and parcel of owning the Quad, as i B1 licence holder i see no point of comparing them to a regular small car. If you've got a car licence buy something else, if like me you want winter transport they're great.

Performance, excelleration and top speed (65mph) are better than I hoped for, goes on dual carriageways at a steady 55mph.

Rossefield in Yorkshire are probably the biggest dealer. I've found them helpful when ordering parts, good service very fast. I've recently replaced all three sections of my exhaust. Cost £220 and £30 to be fitted at Long Eaton Garage, they're also a dealer and are used to working on them. Hope this helps, cheers

I am a happy aixam owner.

But can anyone tell me how much it costs for a new exhaust

And who can fit one for me?

I Got This A751 5 Years Ago And I Will Not Be Get

I got this A751 5 years ago and I will not be geting any more aixam, 5 gear boxes later, numerous amounts of drive belts, 3 lots of exhausts, wheel barings, and I can keep going on and on. The after sales garage, was brillient for putting all these problems right for me. But for Aixams themselves, I think they need to get their act together. And deel with the problems for the A751, as I can not afford to buy a new car, I am stuck with this one, until I can find something I can afford to buy.

Since Paying A Lot Of Money ( Over £9000-)

Since paying a lot of money ( over £9000-) FOR A VERY SMALL CAR only two years ago i am extremely dissapointed with this so -called top of the range model AIXAM CROSSLINE.It has made Me cross regularly. It has been in and out of the garage i purchased it from so often for one thing and another it must think it still lives there!!!!All in all i think i have been cheated.
