I Have Driven The 2005 Cayenne Turbo S And In Shor

I have driven the 2005 Cayenne Turbo S and in short I found it totally surprising and in short I am not a SUV man but this has changed my mind. Absolutely lost for words it is an engineering marvel. I have driven many vehicles both porsche, BMW, Ferrari and I have to say that this vehicle is sensational. I totally agree with the reviewers comments. I can't believe it handled as well as it did but the acceleration was breath taking. 10/10.

I Took Out A Porsche Cayenne S As A Loan Car While

I took out a Porsche Cayenne S as a loan car while Porsche fixed my 911. I was so impressed I went out for a drive in a few different models. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 4.5 offers the ultimate in terms of power (520bhp) and also adds bigger brakes and revised suspension settings.

The car comes with 3 suspension settings and 3 ride height settings which are manually adjustable but also adjust automatically according to road speed. The 'air' suspension makes that car smooth and comfortable even on 20' wheels. I've driven X5's and Range Rovers and find the Cayenne to be much less top heavy and more stable at speed. The steering is lighter at low speeds which takes a bit of getting used to. The pedals are more responsive as are the brakes and turning inputs. It has a better turning circle than the X5. Boot space is similar to the X5 as is seat comfort.

Unlike BMW, the Porsche 6 disk changer does not like all my CD's and the Bose audio is not as full sounding as the Logic 7 option on some BMW's.

The Porsche car phone requires its own simcard - I prefer Bluetooth but this is not an option.

The main advantage is that the Cayenne feels more responsive and more connected to the driving experience.

All things considered, probably the best car I have ever driven including X5's, Range Rovers, S Classes and BMW 7 series.
