Merityre All Season

MeriTyre have little representation on here - reviews being years old. So I'm offering a more up to date review. I'm also not sure whether since the other 2 reviews were written, they have expanded their remit to include exhausts and brakes. I've had tyres from them before but last week my exhaust pipe suddenly got a massive wobble. I took my car into MeriTyre and was not just told, but shown the rubber clamp that was on there - it was falling apart. The man said the clamps would be £4.99 each and I would need 3 of them. I sat waiting thinking "okay, not bad, plus labour I'll be paying about £30 or so altogether". WRONG. My bill was £15 - basically 3x£4.99. Can you imagine coming out of a garage with the same bill for fitting those?! It is so heartening to know that there are still honest, decent car service centres out there who don't just slap labour charges onto a 2 minute job. Whilst I remember it was the same with the tyres.

In addition to this it is worth mentioning their staff. They are ALWAYS friendly, approachable, helpful and patient with me (a man who knows next to nothing about mechanics). I really would not bother with a garage now for tyres, brakes and exhausts. Why pay more?

I checked Merityre website to buy a specific tyres it was about £70 each. I wanted to make sure they have the tryes I wanted I phoned Sunbury brunch. They quoted me over £80 each on the phone, when I told them it is £70 on their website they said they match it.

I went to Sunbury brunch and asked for the tyres I wanted and new quote was £90 each. I presented the print out from their website. I was told that was the internet price but still they matched the internet price. So be very careful and do your homework before you buy anything from Merityre.

I have been to Merityre a few times now for car tyres and have not found them cheaper anywhere else. They have great service and the tyres are good value (they do lots of brands of tyres) and you can also get your mot done.
