Ifor Williams P5 Trailer
I looked around for a trailer for some time. The usual searches online and scouring DIY / home magazines etc didn't inspire any confidence as there were generally significant negative comments on what was available.
As we have two young kids and go camping, the amount of kit we needed to take for our trips increased to the point where my estate car couldn't cope with either the volume or the bulk. Additionally, as a keen DIY enthusiast, I knew a trailer would provide the extra flexibility to cope with awkward and sometimes messy loads.
Therefore I was looking for a trailer robust and versatile enough that wasn't going to fall to pieces the first time I loaded it, or took it any distance. I also wanted a lockable lid for security and an easy clean floor. But in reality my decision to buy an Ifor Wiliams P5 was the easiest to make. Why? Look on the roads and motor ways and by far the vast majority of trailers you'll see are built by IWT and used (by and large) in various shapes and guises by the agricultural / building industries. And with good reason.
So a quick look own their web site confirmed they had exactly what I was looking for in the shape of their smallest trailer, the P5. I ordered mine through McKenzie Trailers, who provided first class service.
I've been using it now for nearly three years and simply cannot praise this trailer highly enough. Sturdy, reliable, ridiculously easy to load, hitch and tow, it has provided me with outstanding service, and confidence in a superior product.
Would I recommend the IWT P5? Without hesitation and 100%. Sure there are cheaper options, but I doubt they'll provide the durability & reliability of years of service that I anticipate to continue to enjoy.

Q&A
I am looking for a trailer with a ramp that is capable of transporting a class 3 mobility scooter. I am wondering if an Ifor Williams P5 trailer with a ramp might be suitable for this purpose. As well as using the trailer for transporting the mobility scooter, I should like to use the trailer for odd jobs, such as taking garden waste down the local dump, so I am not looking for a trailer that is only for transporting a mobility scooter, but can be used for other purposes as well. Can anyone help?
